Assam HS Topper 2021 List is released after the declaration of the AHSEC Results 2021. Assam Board released the HS Results 2021 Assam on July 31 at 9 am. As the 12th board results will be out, students can check the Assam HS 2021 Results at ahsec.nic.in and assamresults.nic.in. The AHSEC 12th Results 2021 would also be available on assamresults.nic.in. According to Assam HS Time Table 2021, the AHSEC Board 2021 exams were supposed to commence from May 11. However, the Assam 12th board exams were declared cancelled due to the increasing number of cases of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. With the cancellation of Assam HS Board Exams 2021, the board came up with alternate evaluation criteria in order to release Assam HS Results 2021. According to the assessment criteria released by the Board to evaluate Class 12 students. For Assam HS or Class 12 students, 50 per cent marks will be added from ‘best of 3’ from HSLC and 40 per cent from internal evaluation in non-practical subjects of Arts, Science and Commerce streams.

Considering the cancellation of Assam HS Board Exams 2021, the Board did not release any merit list this year. Until then, let's take a look at Assam 12th Toppers, overall pass percentage, highest-scoring district, etc. of past years.
According to the statistics released after the declaration of the AHSEC Results 2020, 78.28% students passed in Arts stream, 88.18% in commerce stream, and 88.06% in Science stream. Abhinash Kalita is the Science topper and the overall topper in the HS exam. The topper scored 486 marks (97.2 per cent).

78.28 per cent of total students cleared the Arts stream exam successfully. Pubali Deka and Shraddha Bogohain topped from Humanities with 481 marks (96.2 per cent). A total of 1.6 lakh (1,68,367) candidates appeared in the exam.
Approximately, 2.4 lakh students appeared for Assam higher secondary examinations this year. According to the AHSEC Date Sheet 2020, Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Guwahati conducted AHSEC exams from February 12 to March 14, 2020.
Assam HS Pass Percentage in Commerce
88.18 per cent of the total students cleared the Commerce stream exam successfully. Krishna Maheshwari topped from Commerce with 471 marks (94.2 per cent). A total of 17,713 candidates appeared in the exam.
