Bihar Board Class 12 Commerce Topper 2023: Komal Kumari, hailing from Old Karimganj in Bihar's Gaya district, secured second position in BSEB 12th board exams 2023 commerce stream. Komal emerged as BSEB 12th commerce topper 2023 in the state by scoring 474 marks out of 500, i.e. 94.8%. Bihar Board of Secondary Education announced BSEB 12th board exams 2023 results on March 21, 2023. The first position for commerce stream has been secured by Rajnish Kumar Pathak and Somya Sharma with 475 marks out of 500, i.e. 95%. Shiksha.com got in touch with the 2nd topper of BSEB 12th commerce stream, Komal Kumari to understand her preparation strategy for BSEB 12th board exam, her plans on higher studies and more.
Expressing happiness over the success, Komal shared that her family supported her a lot in this journey. “We are not financially sound enough but still my father never thought about stopping my studies and supported me to fulfil my dream. It is because of him and my teachers I am able to top my board exams,” Komal said.

Sharing her BSEB 12th preparation strategy and some tips for the upcoming Bihar Board 12th board exam aspirants, Komal said, “I have day and night by staying at home as I could not afford fees for any coaching. It is important for students to focus on self-study. Try to cover the syllabus and prepare a summary yourself, this will help you remember what you have studied. Breaks play an important role while studying. Taking short breaks helps to relax the mind and improve concentration level.”
Q: When will Bihar Board class 12 exam pattern be released?
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is yet to release the Bihar Board class 12 exam pattern 2025. It is expected to be announced soon. The students must note that the board prescribes the exam pattern in the form of a sample question paper. Also, the board notifies the major changes (if any) in the exam pattern while releasing the time table. As soon as the board releases the BSEB Inter exam pattern for the academic session 2024-25, we will update the same on this page. Students must note that the chances of major changes in the exam pattern are very low.

Komal has also topped her BSEB 10th Board Exams. Sharing her plans on higher studies, Komal said, “I want to pursue commerce and become a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). I have worked hard to achieve this success and my goal is to study harder to fulfill all my dreams and uplift my family.”
