Conducting CBSE 10, 12 Board Exams in containment zones or allowing students from those areas to appear for the exams can put the lives of other students and staff members at risk.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon be conducting the pending CBSE Board Exams 2020. According to the revised CBSE 10th date sheet 2020 and CBSE 12th date sheet 2020, the pending papers will take place between July 1, 2002, and July 15, 2020. As it readies to conduct nationwide exams for CBSE Classes 10 and 12 in three weeks, the Board is faced with a dilemma: What to do if candidates in containment areas cannot appear in the test.

The Ministry of Human Resource and Development declared that the crucial exams will be held in July in 13,000 schools. Talking to the media, an official who wishes to stay anonymous said, “There can be options like treating these students at par with those in CBSE schools abroad for whom there are no exams. However, these are not simple issues and have to be thoroughly deliberated.”
In case the CBSE decides to call students from containment zones to test centres for CBSE 10th board exams 2020 and CBSE 12th Board Exams 2020, it may also require permission from the Union home ministry.
The reports suggest, some officers also point out that a large number of schools in areas such as Delhi and many schools like the Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are being used as quarantine centres. For CBSE Board Exams to be conducted, these institutions would need to be handed back to the organisations managing them.
The official further added, “The board and the ministry are aware of these matters. However, decisions on such aspects cannot be taken in a hurry. All aspects are being considered.”
Meanwhile, The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th result 2020 will be declared by August 15. "Efforts are being made to declare the result by July-end or August itself. The evaluation process has already begun for the board exams and will continue to be held simultaneously with pending exams," the HRD minister said. This year too, the results of both the classes will be declared at an interval of a few days.
