Central Board of Secondary Education issued an advisory regarding CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam Result 2020 on May 28, 2020. The Board in the advisory advised parents, students, and teachers to be aware of the miscreants and not fall prey on some fraudulent activities doing the rounds in the country.

The advisory issued by CBSE reads, “It has come to the notice of CBSE that some unscrupulous persons impersonating themselves as officers/officials of CBSE are contacting the general public claiming to have access to student marks data and asking for money in lieu of increasing marks.”

Alerting the parents, students and teachers, CBSE stated, “All the students/parents/schools are advised to remain alert and vigilant and prevent themselves from being cheated and share details with local Police Authorities for stringent action under the law.”

The Board also cleared that it would not be taking any responsibility for the fraud, “The members of public are also advised to sensitize other public around them. The Board will not be responsible for any such fraudulent transactions and/or consequences arising out of it.”

According to the revised CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2020, the Board would be conducting CBSE Board Exam 2020 from July 1 to July 15, 2020, in 15000 centers across the country. Earlier the Board decided to conduct the examination in only 3000 centers. The decision is taken to ensure social distancing at exam centers and minimize travel for students. The Board is expected to announce CBSE 10th Result 2020 and CBSE 12th Result 2020 by July-end

Meanwhile, The Human Resource and Development Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ made an important announcement regarding the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2020 for classes 10 and 12. The minister took to his official Twitter handle and made an important announcement for the students preparing to appear for the CBSE 10th, CBSE 12th Board Exams but are stranded in other states or districts.

Mr Pokhriyal in his tweet said, “Students, who are currently not in the same district as their board examination centers due to #lockdown! I have advised CBSE to shift your examination center to your current district. Kindly get in touch with your respective schools for further information."
