JAC 10h Topper 2024: Karishma Kumari from Indira Gandhi Girls Residential School, Hazaribag emerged as the third state topper of Jharkhand Board Class 10 Exams 2024. Jharkhand Board declared the JAC 10th Results 2024 on April 19 with an overall pass percentage of 90.39%. Expressing happiness over her JAC Class 10 results, Karishma shared with Shiksha.com that she is glad that all the three state toppers are from her school. “I am happy and satisfied with my marks. However, this happiness is way more because so many of my classmates have scored such good marks. Our teachers have done a lot of hardwork with us and helped us score good marks in the matric exam. Individual marks would have given me happiness, but it’s time to celebrate all together as all three state toppers are from Indira Gandhi School. Harkwork of our teachers and students have truly paid with amazing results.
While talking about her plans on further studies, Karishma shared that she wants to be an Aeronautical Engineer. “I want to pursue Aeronautical Engineering in higher studies. My aim is to join NASA, she said.

Crediting her success to all her family and friends, Karishma said, “the credit of this success goes to my family, friends, and most importantly my teachers. I have succeeded because these people showed trust in me. My family has always inspired me and my teachers kept on carving the path towards this success.”
JAC Class 10th Topper 2024 Study Routine
Toppers are often believed to follow a strict routine, sharing her Class 10 board exam 2024 preparation routine, Karishma said, “I always concentrated on what was being taught in the classroom. Apart from this, I have relied a lot on self-study. I have never joined any tuition, in fact. None of my classmates did.”
“As I prepare studying at night, after school hours, I used to dedicate 3-4 hours to self-study, specifically at night.”

Sharing some tips for Jharkhand Board Class 10 students to score well in JAC Class 10 Exams 2025, Karishma said, “Often students get dependent on sample papers, key books, model papers, etc while preparing for board exams. However, in my schools, we paid more attention to course book and tried completing the whole JAC 10th syllabus. I have also tried and maintained a routine for self-study after school. Self-study is the foremost key to score well in board exams. Also, I have been blessed with such teachers who helped me throughout this journey and made sure that we all come out as a winner.”
Inspiring the upcoming JAC 10th students, Karishma said, “Begins your preparation on day one. Do not stay dependent over model papers or sample papers. Completing the syllabus is an important key to score well in board exams. Maintain a routine and don’t take stress. Stay positive towards your goal and keep your preparation consistent.”
