JAC 10th Exam Pattern 2025: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The JAC 10th board exams follow a traditional pen-and-paper format. JAC Matric exam consist multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short-answer questions, and long-answer questions. The exam is conducted for various subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science, with a total duration of 3 hours per paper. Each subject carries a maximum of 100 marks, with some subjects divided between theory and practical components, especially in Science and Social Science.

The marking scheme for JAC 10th exams varies by subject, with most subjects having a maximum of 100 marks. In Science and Social Science, 80 marks are allotted to theory, and 20 marks are for internal or practical assessments. For subjects like Mathematics, the entire 100 marks are based on written examination performance. Up to 5% marks given as grace if a student is failing in a subject. On the other hand, if a students is failing in two subjects then the board will give up to 3% marks in both subjects.
