Best college for an average student in Chennai.

Placements: AVIT provides courses in various fields like civil engineering, computer Science engineering, biomedical, Pharma and post-graduation courses like MBA. This campus has SASH for Arts and Science courses, FASH for Medical Courses and AVIL for Law Courses even for Architecture courses offered by the College. They have tied up with many companies and they provide average packages.

The college is good for education, but the placements are not good.

Placements: I was in batch 2013-2017, the placement percentage of my batch was poor compared to the previous batches. It was around 8-9%, I think. The package offered was about 2-3 LPA. The top companies that came were Indoshell, JBM, Shardha Motors, Iceland Hydraulic etc. The top role offered is GET.

It is an amazing college with unlimited different opportunities.

Placements: Placements are offered in various prestigious companies in our college. Our college ensures that every student who applied for placement drives gets an equal chance to get selected. TVS, HCL, etc., are some of the major companies which participate in placement drives.

The college is worth money, and education quality is also good.

Placements: The highest salary offered is up to Rs. 50,000 per month. The percentage of the students' marks is also high while completing the course in this college. The salary package offered is good, according to the students who obtained the highest percentage and marks in their academics.

Only come here if its one of the last resorts.

Placements: The college people to try and actively call companies for placements but then the salaries offered by these companies are very low. And most of the companies call for tech support jobs and proper core jobs are not offered. Therefore the placement scenario is very poor.

All faculty members are good and the placements are low.

Placements: The college is good, and the management is also good, but last year many companies were affected because of demonetisation. So placements did not happen in college. The college placement cell is very good, and they teach us how to crack interviews. It was very helpful for me.

Overall, the college is good.

Placements: I did B.E from AVIT, Chennai. I got placed in Capgemini, India as a software engineer. For our batch students, the college gave placement opportunity for all accordingly, and they all placed in a good organisation, so we recommend you to join this college.

Disappointed by the standard of this college.

Placements: Here, the placements are not assured as you have to search on your own. Most of the seniors here are placed in good companies. If they tell you like 200 percent placement like this, don't trust these words.

Satisfied due to placement and other activities like seminars.

Placements: In 2016 batch, 78% of the students got placed in our college due to our supportive placement cell. The companies like JBM, Hitachi, Infosys, and Wipro recruited the students, and I was placed in one of those companies. The highest package offered by companies was 7 lacs per annum. The average package was around 3.2 lacs per annum. In our college, no intern plan was held by placement cell.

My review on AVIT college.

Placements: Yes, the college has placements. At least 3 companies will be coming for campus interview. The placement in charge will guide us for getting placed in the right company. The placements are not guaranteed for all academic years. Sometimes no companies will be coming for the campus.

AVIT has a sprawling campus consisting of well-designed, multistoried buildings, providing ample space for class rooms including digital classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, an excellent library and an air-conditioned auditorium. It has hostels separate for boys and girls and a student amenities center.

The good thing about my college was that the faculty members were so cooperative and always wants to teach the students something new. The bad at end it happened because of fraud placements in the last year. The missing thing is something special which are my classmates along with whom we spent 4 yrs of long journey together.

The college has good discipline and co-education system. It has updated courses which can be utilized to get quality job or placement in IT sector. My college encouraged students for extra-curricular activity also. College also has well qualified and highly motivated faculty. College placement is weak because management is not focusing on placement activity but its not too bad either.

I am very surprised when I came here. This college given me so much lessons.

Placements: You should take placement in third year also. In this college you can get 3 to 5 lack package. If you are hardworking then you can get better placement.
