Absolutely a nice college- well planned, well infrastructured

Placements: Many companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Cognizant Technologies, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc. come to our college to appoint students. The placement cell also organises multiple campus placement drives for government and private colleges located in rural places of Karnataka.

Satisfied to be a part of a good, reputed college

Placements: Placements are good. Main companies are Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra and other companies. If we are talented enough, then we can go abroad as well and our college will help for our projects. Approximately 70 percent students are placed in our course. The salary offered is 3.5 lakhs minimum and 6 lakhs maximum. 60 percent of students will get internships and 30,000 to 50,000 stipend is offered to students who are eligible.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the lack of industry exposure and the infrastructure provided

Placements: Placements are pretty bad for automobile. Only 3 members got placed in the relevant company and 6 members got placed in IT companies. This was out of 60 members. The companies which visited were Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and a few other IT companies. The preference for automobile was the least.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. We get a lot of placement options in CS or IS departments. But when it comes to mechanical, they're pretty less as there are less core companies. In case of EC and EEE, they're pretty good but mostly software companies like Infosys, Wipro are there. For mechanical, Kennametal was there.

Best infrastructure and a very fascinating college fest. Very small problems like the canteen.

Placements: In the ISE department, it was 100% placement last year (2016-17). Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, TCS and many more companies at around 150+ in numbers recruited from our department. Students have done their internship in Google, and many companies in Bangalore. The college is providing a very good placement training programs from the 1st year itself, so it is helping the students to face the challenges in placements and achieve more. ...

Average college, not the worst among other colleges.

Placements: Placements are good with an average salary of 5-6 lakhs per annum. Companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and various other well-established companies come and conduct placement drives. 60-70% of the students are placed. Mass recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro also visit the Acharya placement drive.

Acharya Institute of Technology - A background report

Placements: 2017 batch saw the best placement opportunities in the last 3 years. Various companies came offering jobs to different departments. Many off-campus notifications were given. The highest package was 6 lac offered by HashedIn. This year, Infosys offered internship for the final year students.

Placements: C.S placements in every college are good and 60% is in our department. I.T companies like Accenture, Wipro, Infosys and many other reputed I.T companies visited for campus placements. The highest package is about 6 LPA and the lowest package is about 3.5 LPA.

Review of Acharya Institute of Technology.

Placements: Average placements. I would say 20% are placed in core companies and more are placed in non-core companies. This is just the case for EC. Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra and Bosch are some of the many companies that visited here. The average placement salary offered is close to 5 lakhs.

Awesome building and good lecturers.

Placements: Placement was a bit good for MCA students. More than 20% students got selected from the campus. The highest salary is 4 lpa and the lowest is 2 lpa. The companies that visited are Infosys, Cognizant, Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, etc. Trainee, software developers, software engineer, etc. were the positions offered. Internship percentage is 30%. The highest stipend is 10k and the lowest is 5k.

Truth of the Acharya Institute of Technology

Placements: The placement is very poor. Out of 170 students, only 2-3 students get placed from the college. Nowadays they are calling the companies for tech-process. The average salary can be expected as 10k if you get placed. Once they had called a company which was offering 4k for 3 months and the next 6 month as 8k. The course fee for the non-Karnataka student is approximately 5 lakhs. So I don't think the college meets the expectation.

Absolutely the best college when it comes to placement, infrastructure, and the teaching staff.

Placements: The placement process is carried by the placement coordination department and placement in the college goes on very smoothly with the mass recruitment companies such as IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc. hiring at least 40% of the students. The internship opportunities are huge. Under the student exchange program, students are given an opportunity to visit Old Dominion University in the USA. Coming to the stipend, the highest paid stipend was Rs. 24 lakhs and the average stipend is in the range Rs. 18000...

Awesome campus but attendance and other stuff matter more than the student's life.

Placements: Good for students who have an aggregate more than 60% as a lot of companies are called for them. The students who have a below aggregate get mostly consultancies or not even that. The companies which come for students having a below average aggregate are just a formality that the college is doing something for the students who are below average.

Acharya Instiute of Technology, the best place for the students to study.

Placements: The placements on our college are helpful, and most of the students are placed successfully. Our principal, Maheshappa helps the students to solve their academic problems and to get placed. Mamtha mam and Bhooshan sir are the placement coordinator of Acharya Institute of Technology.

Nice placements and a beautiful infrastructure

Placements: As per the view of IT companies, placements are very good. Usually, the package of these IT companies varies from 2.5-3.5 LPA. Core companies also come for recruitment but are very few, and they offer around 5-6 LPA. At the end of the semester, companies also come for BPO, marketing, and sales jobs. They offer around 1.5-2 LPA. Almost all eligible students are placed, but they may not get their dream jobs. The highest package is 6 LPA for 2017 batch. IT companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemi...

Satisfied with what change they have brought in placements.

Placements: The placement for seniors was pretty bad but surprisingly the placements were much better for us. Approximately 15 companies visited but not all were technical. I don't how many but for MCA you need to have programming skills, around 20% placed. The highest was 4 PA. Infosys, Poel Technologies, Abiba System and others. Software developer role was offered but required good skills to clear. 30% approximately got the internship but many people got it from outside. The highest stipend was 10,000 per...

Review of Acharya Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements are not that good, especially for automobile branch students who don't get placed in core companies and instead get placed in IT companies like Amazon, Infosys and much more. The first batch of the college comprised of hardly 20-40 people and hardly 10 of them got placed.

Placements: Placement is quite good in this college. Around 50-60% placement will take place. As far as I know, the highest and lowest salary offered is 8 lakhs and 3 lakhs. Around 100 companies visited the campus. Some of them are- Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Indian Navy. Around 10% of students will get an internship opportunity from the college.

Not completely satisfied with my college because of faculty members.

Placements: For our course, there is no scope for placement and our department doesn't give much preference to placement as no essential training is provided and only two companies come for placements and select three to four candidates only. No core companies come for placements from our course but for other courses, companies come for placements.
