Our college does not provide good placements, but apart from that, everything is good.

Placements: Around 10% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Most companies were startups, so packages were below industry standards. The department provided unpaid internships. Most of the students got jobs on their own with referrals.

It is quite a moderate college.

Placements: Placements are not exceptional but good for an average college. There are placement training sessions for aptitude conducted from the 2nd year. Our branch AIML is new to this college so we do not have much idea about placements in this branch.

It is lush with greenery, good infrastructure, faculty, and a crowd.

Placements: About 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 4 LPA. Placement cell is amazing and it starts from 3rd year itself. Overall you will get placed in this college. Acharya institute of technology is good, but bad at the same time, come at your own risk.

Review of Acharya Institute of Technology.

Placements: Around 40% of students got placement last year which is not bad for mechanical engineering. The average salary offered was 11 to 12 LPA. If students are good at studies then placements are easy else it is difficult.

The infrastructure of the college is so fascinating but the way of teaching is so poor.

Placements: None of the companies came to our college for placements. I waited for 3 years for placement companies. The college is busy organising events. Trust me this college is so pathetic. No one will ever recommend this college to any one not even to their enemies.

This is an average college, but not value for money.

Placements: Around 90% of students are placed but for the lower packages. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The major focus of the institute is to place students, not better placements. If students get one offer then they will not allow them for the further placements activities.

I am not satisfied with the college.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course was 50 percent. The highest package offered in my course was 8.5 Lacs per annum. The average package offered in my course was 3.5 Lacs per annum. The minimum package offered in my course was 2 Lacs per annum.

It has good infrastructure and facilities. There is less technical exposure.

Placements: I am from the electrical branch, and a number of core companies visited our campus in the final year was zero. We were eligible to attend drives arranged for CS and IT branch. A number of drives arranged for them were also hardly 4-5, so placement cell in our college was not up to the mark.

Satisfied because of faculty members, but dissatisfied with good placement.

Placements: In Acharya Institute of Technology, in aeronautical engineering, three is no placement record of students in the aeronautical field. Some of the students got placement in IT field from aeronautical engineering branch, but not in the aeronautical field. Many software companies visit our college for placements.

Dissatisfied with the faculty. In 2017, the placements are good, and this year, this is going well.

Placements: The placements in our college are not fine, but our faculty members are trying their best. Many companies are visiting our college, but the marketing profiles are more for our batch, and HR and finance profiles are a few compared to that marketing. The salary package offered is from 2 LPA to 10 LPA. The companies like CIG Housing is offering 6 LPA for finance and Griddle is 5 LPA for a business development officer. There are few companies like this offering around 5 LPA and below. But the placem...

Low on placements and outdated syllabus.

Placements: About 30% students have been placed from our seniors batch last year. For MBA students the most placements are for marketing students and little less for HR students. For core finance students, there is very less placements coming in. The average package is 2-3.5 Lacs. Rarely some companies come for 4-6 Lacs.

Dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: There are no placements for civil engineering, but there is a huge scope of students in IT sector. Also, there are placements for electrical branch as well as electronic and telecommunication branch. The candidates who are having backlogs are not allowed to sit in the placements.

Really good infrastructure but dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: There are no placements available for the civil courses, not even a single company. They will provide placement training which is of no use as there are no proper placement opportunities. Not even a single company will come to placement. The placements for IT background courses are good, and civil students are allowed to attend with high percentage only. Very poor in the field of placements.

A brief review of Acharya Institute of Technology concerning MBA.

Placements: The placement opportunities are bad with the lower packages. The average package offered is around 4 lakhs per annum. No assistance from the college regarding the internships, placement training is just a show. 2 out of 10 students get placed. Very few companies visit to recruit HR and Finance people

There are no placements, and most of the faculty members are rookies.

Placements: I am 2016 passed out, but still, I didn't get a job. In the college, there will be the placements for the namesake. The placements are only for one or two people. They conduct the placements for every department, and there will be the eligibility criteria. So, according to me, there are no placements in this college. Don't invest lakhs of money and waste your time and money. It's better to stay in the home and do business using the investment money.

My college is a hefty business chain

Placements: Companies do visit the college, but most of them come with lower packages and also, the joining letter sent by the companies are quite late. Symmetrically, the placement department members are like chameleons as they may change from their words anytime. Placement coordinators from the departments are also a little unaware of the real corporate system. The training for the placement is lame, though. The placements procured by students are mainly because of their own efforts. The college denies to...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the lack of industry exposure and the infrastructure provided

Placements: Placements are pretty bad for automobile. Only 3 members got placed in the relevant company and 6 members got placed in IT companies. This was out of 60 members. The companies which visited were Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and a few other IT companies. The preference for automobile was the least.

Truth of the Acharya Institute of Technology

Placements: The placement is very poor. Out of 170 students, only 2-3 students get placed from the college. Nowadays they are calling the companies for tech-process. The average salary can be expected as 10k if you get placed. Once they had called a company which was offering 4k for 3 months and the next 6 month as 8k. The course fee for the non-Karnataka student is approximately 5 lakhs. So I don't think the college meets the expectation.

Not completely satisfied with my college because of faculty members.

Placements: For our course, there is no scope for placement and our department doesn't give much preference to placement as no essential training is provided and only two companies come for placements and select three to four candidates only. No core companies come for placements from our course but for other courses, companies come for placements.

College for widening your horizon.

Placements: Lots of opportunities for placement. Not many core companies come to the college but the college provides a platform for AMCAT through which you can seek placement in core companies like Amazon, Oracle, HP etc. The placement cell provides you update about pool campus & other exams happening.
