Moderate experience of college.

Placements: Recently, I have been studying, so I don't know about the placement. But I heard that the placement is not that good. People in Computer Science get chances for placements on campus. I don't know about other departments. After all, it's a general degree college, so we can't expect that good of placements at all.

Balanced learning experience in AJC.

Placements: Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose College offers limited placements and internships to B.Com students. Companies like TCS and APT visit our college with an average salary package of 2.4 LPA - 3.5 LPA. Internship opportunities are available but are not a significant focus, and many students pursue internships independently.

Good for fun but if you're serious for studies wouldn't recommend AJC.

Placements: Only a very few students actually got placement from my college, even after they were selected the job role had a target for each month. Motilala offered placements as well. The packages were mostly around 2lac per annum or something. Motilala, time pro, they were a free data analysis course as well from nasscom, etc. Were there. I'm not sure how many people got internship but it was around 20% back then. Tele calling, customer care, vice associate.

Honest opinion about my college

Placements: There was no placement opportunity in our college. Nobody got a job after completing the course. There was no company recruiting from my course. Nobody got an internship. But a few good students went for a master’s degree at Jadavpur University/Calcutta University.

Good infrastructure and well maintained college best for in this budget

Placements: Placement session haven't started yet. I am a second year student and according to the college fees structure, the facilities they're providing is quite nice if you are looking for a government college then you can surely go for it. The teachers, staffs and other seniors are all well behaved and supporting.

They didn't make us ready for the real world. They just taught us what was written in books.

Placements: Rarely do we get placement offers. Our college rarely offered us placements. Not even did we get any internship offers, and we haven't heard anything from our seniors about any worthy internships or placements. We haven't heard of any big companies coming to offer anything.
