As most of the courses in our college are not professional, therefore only students from a few courses B.Com B.Sc. (H) Computer Science) get placed.

The college is located in a very good place. The infrastructure is also good.
Placements: About 80% of students are placed, with an average package of around 24 Lacs and the lowest average package of 15 Lacs. Top recruiting companies include Genpact, Wipro, and TCS. Top roles offered include financial management and data analyst. Placements can be good only if they are offering a decent package. Otherwise, it is always better to go for higher studies and get a master’s degree. If you wish to get a better-paying job and a higher package, then it is recommended to go for higher studies as it ensures that you gain specialized skills and are rewarded as per that. However, if you think that getting work experience and hands-on knowledge is more important to you, you should definitely opt for campus placement. This decision depends upon a lot of factors, but it all narrows down to one thing, and that is what kind of career trajectory you want to follow.
Infrastructure: Yes, the facilities are really good, and many useful books are available in libraries. The labs are so equipped as well. While the comparison between campus placements and higher studies is a long-standing one, campus placements are usually conducted by companies where they recruit a set of individuals from various colleges. One can easily apply for campus placements in their final year of graduation. There are a few conditions, though, which must be met in order to be eligible for campus placements. Companies usually hire students who perform well in their internships, have some past work experience, and are able to get through the multiple tests and interview rounds conducted by the company.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is aligned with industry standards, and the exams are not too difficult. Higher education is third-level education after you leave school. It takes place at universities and Further Education colleges and normally includes undergraduate and postgraduate study. The world has realized that the economic success of the states is directly determined by the quality of their education systems, especially higher education, and that the most effective factor of production is human capital expressed in knowledge, skills, creative abilities, and moral qualities of individuals in society.
Other: I chose this course because of my deep interest in [specific aspect of the field, like data analysis, design thinking, or human behavior], which aligns perfectly with my career goal of becoming a [desired profession]. Structure: The course could have more structure to help students stay focused. Direction: The direction could be easier to follow.

Most of the things are average, as it is an alternative to IIT and NIT, which is good in itself.
Placements: The placement rate of last year, i.e., 2024, for B.Sc. (H) CS was around 5%, and the highest package was about 6 LPA, with the lowest about 3 LPA. Wipro was one of the top recruiting companies, and the number of students getting internships was about 40%, while others pursued higher studies. The top role is that of CEO, as many students pursued becoming startup founders and ended up being CEOs as they were founders.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average, as all the amenities necessary for a college to have are there, except for the hostel facility. Yes, the college has good Wi-Fi and average labs, classrooms, and a good library with full air conditioning. The college has very good hygiene in the canteen compared to others and is also good in sports, as they have average infrastructure for sports that would be enough to practice the majority of sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, as they have good teaching quality, and the study is good as you can learn many things here. It is a value-for-money option if you want to do graduation. If you are unable to crack JEE, then you can pursue this college as it would be a great alternative for you, as teaching is good and you can crack a good placement package after college.
Other: I chose this course because I was unable to pursue B.Tech in CS and wanted to do CS out of my interest, and it is better than taking admission in any non-famous private college as it gives you a return on investment as of your investment.

Absolutely dissatisfied by administration, bad infrastructure, good library.
Placements: The college does not provide placements, but some internship opportunities are available during the college years. However, the number of internship opportunities is also very low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good. The classrooms are under tin shades and do not have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus, only in the library and labs. The library is good, with many useful books and magazines. The college does not provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: The teaching staff are good; however, the course is completely theoretical and doesn't provide any practical or hands-on experience. This makes it difficult for students to get industry-ready. If you want to pursue a career in this field, you'll need to continue your studies, as the course basically prepares you for teaching or research. The semester system has exams in June and December, with a passing grade of 40%. The difficulty level is moderate.
Other: I needed a mathematics course and at that time the ranking of the college was also good. I was getting this in the first cutoff round so I selected it. I wish college should improve infrastructure.

A new hope for placements in Acharya Narendra Dev college .
Placements: Before the pandemic, our college had placements from companies like WIPRO, but after the pandemic, the placement cell of our college was not that active, and recently it is being rebuilt by some 3rd-year students. From what I can remember, the average package is 2 LPA, while the highest is around 16 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is Wi-Fi-enabled, covering most of the areas. In our college, there are many labs in comparison to other colleges under DU. Our library has RFID, meaning there is no need of assistance from a librarian to issue or return the books. We can just directly issue it with the machines in the library by using our ID card that has RFID.
Faculty: Apart from a few teachers, most of the faculty are good in our college, with classes being conducted on a regular basis. As our college has a B.Sc. course, it doesn't prove that much industry exposure to students. Semester exams are not that difficult, as students can get passing marks from just either regularly attending the classes or by learning on their own.

Review of Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi.
Placements: There are very few placements. I would say not even 10% get placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Only core companies come and that too in the teaching industry. Role offered is assistant teacher.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility available in colleges under Delhi University. Hostels are available in very few colleges and that too for a limited number of students, for example, Miranda House. So, one has to stay in PGs. Mess quality in Delhi is very bad and will not satisfy your hunger.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, but they don't help students understand concepts. Course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Students have to gain skills if they want an industry job. Semester exams are very easy and all questions are from previous years.
Other: I chose it just because of its brand name. There are no events, no fests, no extracurricular activities. It is just an academics-based college.

Absolutely not satisfied with the placements but the experience at this college is quite nice.
Placements: No placements are provided by the college, you have to look for off-campus placements yourself. Placement fairs are held in the north campus of DU where you can apply for job interviews but there are no on-campus placements provided by the college for my course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that great. Earlier it was nothing and resembled a government school, but recently many things have changed in the college post renovation. There are no hostel facilities provided by the college. You need to look for PGs or flats outside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty is average, neither too bad nor too good. It majorly depends upon how involved you are with your studies. The end-semester exams are not that difficult if you have been consistent throughout the semester and have attended classes along with doing your studies and assignments properly.
