Q:   How effective is the placement cell for B.E. / B.Tech courses at Adarsh College of Engineering?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.E./B.Tech Courses at Adarsh College of Engineering

Based on the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni, the effectiveness of the placement cell at Adarsh College of Engineering for B.E./B.Tech courses appears to be limited.

    * Placement Numbers: According to the reviews, only 2-5 students from the batch got placed, and the salary range was relatively low (Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month).
    * Top Recruiting Company: Despite Tech Mahindra being a top recruiter, no students from the course were hired.
    * Internship Opportunities: Few students from the course managed to secure internships.
    * Lack of Support: Faculty members' lack of experience and inadequate guidance were cited as major issues affecting students' career prospects.
    * Poor Infrastructure: The absence of modern lab facilities, insufficient classroom space, and poor hostel conditions may have contributed to the limited success of the placement cell.

Overall, while the college claims to offer good placements, the reality seems different based on the feedback from current and former students. Improving the infrastructure, faculty expertise, and placement services would likely enhance the placement outcomes for B.E./B.Tech graduates at Adarsh College of Engineering.

It is a good college with excellent teachers and facilities.
Placements: In the final year, students were eligible for college placements. The call center companies hired many students. A limited number of companies visited our campus.
Infrastructure: It was a good college with pleasant atmosphere.
Faculty: Good teachers needed to be better encouraged. Our teachers encouraged students to attend the tournaments that were held. Our college teachers were excellent.
Other: I chose electronics and communication engineering because it is a promising branch of engineering and a well-reputed branch in the current scenario. Teachers provided good lab experience. Labs should upgrade some old equipment. The main thing was that our college bought new equipment during the inspection. The college admission process included an entrance exam to occupy the college seats, and there were merit seats also.

    Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. The salary package offered ranges between 2.5 LPA - 5.0 LPA. It will be helpful for students as they need the basic salary for the fresher. Many companies visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It is a good place to learn courses. It will help students to study better in our college surroundings. The hostel facility is available in our college. The food served in the hostel is good. The hostel facilities are good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful and relevant. They support students in any events, activities, and study. Exams pattern is difficult. It is followed by the JNTUK. They teach based on the curriculum. Semester exams are very difficult for many engineering students, but they take care of the future. Students should study well. Students should plan a good road map for their visions, capabilities, and goals.
Other: Our college organises events and fests every 3 - 4 months.

    Avoid this college. Bad decision.
Placements: There are no placements offered from our college. From last 3 years no placements are offered. No internship is conducted. It is the very worst college one can opt for.
Infrastructure: Average facilities are offered and below average infrastructure. Decent hostel facilities are provided. No medical facilities are available. And also no sport events are organized. There is a small medical facility which one can avail, the mess is only available for hostel students.
Faculty: Faculty teach in a very poor way in our college and we face a lot of problems because of that. Every semester faculty fail to complete the syllabus.
Other: Please avoid this college, choose other college.

I was disappointed with the college and will not suggest students join this.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in our course. The highest recruitment in college is from our course.2. The highest salary offered is Rs. 24,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The top recruiting company of our college is Tech Mahindra, and the top role offered is as a supervisor. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.3 LPA. Only 15% of students got an internship in our batch in BHEL.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our college are of very poor quality. No Wi-Fi is available, and there are dirty classrooms. But we have a digital library. The facilities provided in our hostel are not good. The quality of the food served is poor. Even the medical facilities provided are bad. There are no sports and games provided on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not helpful to students neither they are qualified to teach. They are not knowledgeable persons for teaching. The quality of teaching is also not good. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course to enjoy and educate, and I like it very much. The college needs to improve faculty members and infrastructure. Annual fests and events are held in our college. Campus surroundings are good as they are clean and green.
