Q:   How effective is the placement cell for B.E. / B.Tech courses at Adarsh College of Engineering?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.E./B.Tech Courses at Adarsh College of Engineering

Based on the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni, the effectiveness of the placement cell at Adarsh College of Engineering for B.E./B.Tech courses appears to be limited.

* Placement Numbers: According to the reviews, only 2-5 students from the batch got placed, and the salary range was relatively low (Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month).
* Top Recruiting Company: Despite Tech Mahindra being a top recruiter, no students from the course were hired.
* Internship Opportunities: Few students from the course managed to secure internships.
* Lack of Support: Faculty members' lack of experience and inadequate guidance were cited as major issues affecting students' career prospects.
* Poor Infrastructure: The absence of modern lab facilities, insufficient classroom space, and poor hostel conditions may have contributed to the limited success of the placement cell.

Overall, while the college claims to offer good placements, the reality seems different based on the feedback from current and former students. Improving the infrastructure, faculty expertise, and placement services would likely enhance the placement outcomes for B.E./B.Tech graduates at Adarsh College of Engineering.

I was disappointed with the college and will not suggest students join this.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed in our course. The highest recruitment in college is from our course.2. The highest salary offered is Rs. 24,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The top recruiting company of our college is Tech Mahindra, and the top role offered is as a supervisor. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.3 LPA. Only 15% of students got an internship in our batch in BHEL.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our college are of very poor quality. No Wi-Fi is available, and there are dirty classrooms. But we have a digital library. The facilities provided in our hostel are not good. The quality of the food served is poor. Even the medical facilities provided are bad. There are no sports and games provided on campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not helpful to students neither they are qualified to teach. They are not knowledgeable persons for teaching. The quality of teaching is also not good. The course curriculum is not relevant, and it does not make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course to enjoy and educate, and I like it very much. The college needs to improve faculty members and infrastructure. Annual fests and events are held in our college. Campus surroundings are good as they are clean and green.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: 1) 60 percent of students are placed in our course. 2) the highest salary is 25k and the lowest is 14k. 3. Top recruiting companies are SYNERGIES, GREEN TECH, TECH MAHINDRA. 4. GENERAL MANAGER is the top role offered in our course. 5. The highest package offered is 26k per month. 6. 30 % of our students got internships from BHEL, HPVP etc.
Infrastructure: 1. Facilities and infrastructure in our college and campus are very poor. No Wi-Fi available, labs are poor and have only one library which is best 2. Coming to our college hostel, facilities at hostel are very poor and very bad in the mess. No medical facilities available there and only some priorities are given to sports and games.
Faculty: 1. Our teachers not helpful at all according to our needs, they aren't qualified to teach us but they try to teach, they don't have knowledge as our wish they are week at studies. The quality is very poor for engineering students 2. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant, but it wouldn't make students Industry ready.
Other: 1. I randomly selected this course as all students, but this course is very good than I thought. It is very interesting and useful to us 2. Labs must expand and upgrade according to updated syllabus and updated curriculum. 3. Few events are held annually that too very simple. Campus looks gorgeous but nothing exist internally. There is a clean and green surrounding around our college which is loved by us.

I completely dissatisfied with the campus recruitment process.
Placements: In our college, none of the companies visits to offer jobs. Some of the small companies visited, and only a few students got placed with very low salary packages. I am completely dissatisfied with the campus recruitment process. In the previous year, Fillet company visited for the campus recruitment process.
Infrastructure: Our college has a Wi-Fi facility, but not for students. Wi-Fi facility is provided only for faculty members and for official use only. Labs and classrooms are maintained well. The library is also good and has a lot of collection of books. The food served in the hostel is average.
Faculty: Faculty members here are interested in teaching only half of the syllabus of the curriculum. All the students suffer from learning the remaining part of the syllabus. Some of the faculty members are knowledgeable, but the students don't get the concept. The course curriculum doesn't make the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen the mechanical engineering branch because I have a passion for the course. The advantage of mechanical engineering is it covers all the streams of engineering. So, we get a better knowledge of all streams.

It is a good college for middle-class students.
Placements: Nearly 20% of the students are placed every year through the campus recruitment process. Companies which visited our campus are Wipro, HCL, Dell, etc. In our course, the highest salary package offered is I lac per annum and the lowest salary package offered is Rs. 70,000 per annum. Almost 30% of the students got an internship from our college in Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available in our college for all types of students like hostellers. Wi-Fi facilities are also available. In our course, labs and classrooms are very neat, and the library is also good. All the facilities are available like a hostel, medical, playing sports, etc. Quality of food served in our mess is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not that good, but they are trying to provide information about our course. They are knowledgeable, but they don't know how to explain units. Our course curriculum is relevant, but students are not ready for the industry and jobs.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested to learn about the working of automobiles like 4 wheels, bikes, etc. The best thing about our college is its labs. Events and fests conducted here are good and enjoying. Scholarships are also provided in the college.

I am highly dissatisfied because of the worst education values.
Placements: Almost 75% of the students got placed. Fewer companies like HCL, Green Tech, GJ Solutions and other companies for mechanical engineering are the top recruiters. In our course, the highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Very less percentage of students from our course got an internship in GJ Solutions and HCL.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of our college are the best. They provide free Wi-Fi and all department labs like mechanical engineering labs, computer science labs, electronic labs, etc. There is a library in our college. Food served is the worst. There is a canteen, but it is not open at any time. There is no ground for sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not helpful, and the management is money-minded. They are only B.Tech qualified, and they have less knowledge. Teaching quality is the worst. This course curriculum is related, and it makes student industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in it.
