The courses offered in this college are very good, and the placement cell is also good.

Placements: I am among the first batch in computer science engineering (artificial intelligence), so there is no placement record in this course. The college will provide good placement assistance. Since AI offers roles such as data analytics, cyber security, and machine learning, there are good chances to get placements.

Our college facilities and teachers are good but the hostel is disaster and management is unethical.

Placements: In our college, many companies visited such as TCS, Wipro, etc. Placement cell was good. We got details about placement through them. There were many positions too, but not everything was convincing. Sometimes, the support from the placement cell was not good.

It is a decent college, with good faculty members and average facilities.

Placements: The placement cell is average. Very few great companies come here for IT students, and the rest are average or below average. The other B.Tech or M.Tech branches have very few opportunities. For computer science or IT students, it's good. For other branches, it is not good. Placement training is good.

Satisfied with the faculty members, but totally disappointed with placements.

Placements: There were almost 6 placements in our college, and it was the same for our senior batch too. The total percentage of students getting placed from our batch would be around 35%, out of which most were placed in TCS. The highest salary package was offered by TCS, around 3.3 LPA, the lowest package was offered by Sutherland, around 1.5 LPA, and the average package would be around 2.5 LPA. Companies visited our college include TCS, Sutherland, Concentrix, Attinad Software (Software Kerala Based) etc...

Average placement in 2016, dedicated faculty members with decent infrastructure.

Placements: The placement scenario of our college was average during our time. IT companies were the predominant recruiters while core companies were very less during my time. Only a handful of students from Mechanical batch was placed during this period. The college also never provided any internship at that time.

Dissatisfied with the course curriculum.

Placements: Our batch had very good placements. Almost all the students who don't have a backlog got placed into various companies. Some of the companies which visit our college every year are TCS, Mindtree, Spectrum etc. Our batch had more placements than our seniors. The trend shows that placements will increase in the coming years. Our college also gets invitations for pool campus placements in nearby colleges through which many students managed to get into companies like Infosys, IBS etc. The average...

Placements: Our college has average placements compared to other colleges in the district of Ernakulam. About 60%-70% of the students got placed into different companies. The main companies that come to the campus are Tata Consultancy Services, Sutherland, Spectrum, Mindtree etc. But our college gets an invitation for attending placement drive in the nearby engineering colleges through which a number of students get placed into companies like IBS, Infosys etc. The average salary offered to any student is ap...

Good facilities and faculty.

Placements: Adishankara college has very good placements compared to nearby colleges in Ernakulam district. About 250 students got placed out of 350 students into different companies like TCS, Infosys, IBS, Sutherland etc. The highest salary offered is nearly 3.5 lakhs, the lowest salary is about 1.5 lakhs and the average salary is approximately 2.5 lakhs. Unfortunately, 99% of the students got into IT job roles. Internship is done by the students on their own. No help is provided by the college. ...

Absolutely dissatisfied with canteen and hostel food.

Placements: Our seniors had excellent placements. About 70% of them got placed into various companies like TCS, Infosys, UST Globals, Mindtree, etc. This year TCS and UST Global had come to the college in the month of October and about 40% of our batch was already placed. Many more companies are yet to come. Every year, the highest salary is offered by TCS i.e., 3.5 lakhs per annum. Our placement cell has been expanded to include 2 more placement officers. Placements: The placements are fine and opportunities are there if we utilise it properly. The problem is that only IT firms are present and no core companies will come. The salaries offered are fine ranging from 2 lakhs to 7 lakhs. Major IT giants like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit usually, and System Analyst post is mainly offered here.

ASIET is an average college.

Placements: The placements were mostly from IT firms and a little from the core firms. TCS and UST were the major companies in which a considerable number of students were placed. By querying the details from the students working now, they say that the placed job offers less salary and they are not doing what they are specialised, which is very sad to hear.
