The memories of my college.

Placements: The placement was okay. The college made sure that each and every student sat for the written exam and every one of them should get placement. But few of the branches didn't had placement. They only had off campus placements instead of the on campus ones.

It is a good college if you are doing Diploma.

Placements: Honestly, this college is not for those who are seeking on-campus placements because the placement rates are very low. You can get placements in companies but not at higher posts because of the course. Top recruiting company is TISCO which is in Jamshedpur. You can get the role of safety technician, supervisor and junior engineer. You have to look for internship opportunities all by yourself because no company visits the campus for internships.

It is the best private polytechnic college in Jharkhand which gives very good placements.

Placements: The college's placements were very nice. As we know that Jamshedpur is an industrial city and many companies were there. Al Kabir was one of the reputed Polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand. So there were more chances for placements. Companies like Tata Steel, Jindal Steel, Tata Power, Hitachi, and L&T visited our college to hire students.

Overall, the college is good, but faculty members are not.

Placements: Placements are not offered at all branches. About 20% of students get placements yearly. There are very big companies like Tata, Indian Railways, Tech Mahindra, etc. Placements are rich in automobile engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. Computer science and engineering lag behind in placements.

Is going to a Diploma school worth it.

Placements: Generally, many companies provide programming related jobs or software testers. If you get good enough grades or know well about the subject, you can even get a junior engineer job. Some companies even provide jobs that are not related to your field if they think you have enough skill.

I am not satisfied with the overall experience.

Placements: Although companies do visit our college, they pick very few students and only the high rankers get selected. Companies like Tata and ACC do visit the college, but they usually choose from the core branches like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or civil engineering.

It is a decent college with good faculty members.

Placements: I did not have any idea about the placement records before, but I saw some of the seniors got placed in good companies like Tata Steel Long Products and ACC. Recruiting companies have been visiting the college more since the lockdown. Roles like junior level supervisor and other staff members are offered to the students.

It is a decent college but not that great.

Placements: The placement cell is active mostly for the 5th or 6th-semester students and for the core branches only. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA in the previous year and is expected to get higher this time. The roles offered are pretty basic, and mostly, the junior-level designation is provided.

Overall, this college is decent.

Placements: Companies do come here nowadays, but still, the placement opportunities need to be improvised by a large margin. I heard about some seniors getting into good companies like L&T, ACC, Tata Steel etc. But more students should be given a chance to at least sit for the placements.

Best for studying purpose and if you need extra curricular activities then this is no.

Placements: There was no package type of thing but many known companies come here for college recruitment and from my branch every year at least 10 to 12 students are selected by the company. There is very much scope for students to be selected by companies. This time tata company is here for recruitment.
