A college life to utilize.

Placements: Students got placed in many of the renowned companies like Sterlite, BPCL, Reliance and ITC. Students who have a CGPA of above 7 without any backlogs got placed mostly. Enjoyed my time with a rather outdated AC Tech.

Placements: AC Tech is famous for chemical engineering and draws some famous companies which come almost every year. RIL, BPCL, Murugappa Group, SRF Fertilizers etc. are some of the big names which come for core placements. Other than these, IT giants like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Accenture hire in bulk. Companies like Zifo, Latentview and MuSigma come for analytics profiles.

The way it sculptured me was not expected, yet I'm good.

Placements: According to my knowledge, around 15 companies visited for placements, including the core ones. My batch's strength was 120. So, out of 120, 25 to 30 people got placed in core companies and others in non-IT companies. In IT, more than 40 people got placed including those who were placed in core companies. Notable companies are Zifo, VA Tech Wabag, Reliance, BPCL, Latent view, MuSigma, Shanmar, Sterlite Copper, Vedanta, ZOHO, Accenture, IBM, Infosys, TCS, CTS. If you had arrears in the past, you ...

Anna university - A dream place for all aspirants.

Placements: Awesome on campus placement opportunities. I did my internship in Shahi Exports, Bangalore. Also, I got the choice of getting placed either in IT field or direct core textile field. IT companies like Infosys, Accenture, TCS conduct placement drive for entire college students. Textile companies like DyStar, Aditya Birla Group - Madura Garments, Jockey India Pvt Ltd, Loyal Textiles, Clariant Chemicals etc will conduct placement drives for textile candidates. I got placed in Jockey India Pvt Ltd wi...

The college life is very good here.

Placements: Placements are really bad if you are going to try for getting placed in a core company. Since, all the departments are PSU related department where one has to take GATE examination. If you consider about getting placed in an IT company, well and good. This college helps you getting a job in an IT company. Nearly 30% got placed in IT companies, with a yearly CTC of 3.35 LPA. This year TCS, Cognizant and Infosys came for bulk drive. Nearly 75% of the candidates got internships from various PSUs wi...

It is a good college with awesome life ahead. The faculty needs some improvement. Facilities like labs and classrooms should be improved. Hostel facilities need to be improved as well. The brand name of the college is so good and also the reputation. Placements are good, provided the placement cell coordinators work properly.

Anna University with scenic entrance and lush green campus is definitely the best place to study in Tamil Nadu! Excellent faculty with remarkable profiles and low cost of study are two important factors that contribute to its top ranking. Comparatively, placements in AU are much better than any other engineering college for all the departments. This place teaches you not just academics but life.

I am satisfied with everything in our college.

Placements: Our seniors had good job offers, and almost 80% of them got placed. Top companies like Madras Pharma and Softgel recruited them. Students of our course can work in the roles of quality control manager in medicine preparing companies. The starting salary offered would be Rs. 20,000 per month. Later, according to their involvement, the salary can be increased.

Good infrastructure with satisfied coaching.

Placements: There is a good scope in our college for chemical engineering. Atmost 30%of students were placed in both core and non core companies. We did not know about the salary package and its depend upon the company. Most of the public sector companies will come for placement. There are 40% of students got internship in different categories related to the core. The atmosphere of college is good to learn the core things.

I'm content and nostalgic about my university life.

Placements: It is good if you are into IT and the worst if you are trying for petroleum companies. There was no single petroleum-based company to recruit us. I was devastated. Please don't opt for petroleum engineering and technology from Anna University.
