No, the college is good, but the faculty is not behaving properly to handle the students.
Placements: No one calls from college for placement; they do not have placements more than 2/3 Lakh per annum, so I don't prefer this for placement. We can choose this college for gaining knowledge and search for a job by ourselves. So, I prefer to go to a government college for better placement or to be genuine at the college for education.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi is working in college. There is a major issue with both phone networks and Wi-Fi networks in college. The library is only for reading; we can't even eat something there. It is too strict. No one should talk on phones, and no one should use phones in the library. The classrooms are old models.
Faculty: They don’t teach properly or in-depth, just give an idea about the topic. Most of the students go to tuition for studying, so there is no chance of passing without extra studies. No one can even cheat in the exam; if caught, they are restricted for one year. So, learn hard and score 28/30 marks in the written paper to pass.

Good campus life and the number of students placed in company is good compared to other colleges.
Placements: In my department, almost 30 to 40 students were placed last year. The highest package was 7.2 LPA, and the companies that hired our graduates included Godrej, Thermax, and others. The top recruiting companies for our department were Reliance and Thermax. While we had to find our own internships, the faculty provided us with references to startups and companies where we could intern.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and the labs in my department are good. However, the Wi-Fi was slow compared to other departments in the college, and the computer lab was a bit outdated. The hostel was too far from the campus, about 7-8 km away.
Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful, and the quality of teaching is nice. The teachers are well qualified and very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very good, but it lags a little bit behind other colleges in terms of industrial knowledge. The semester exams are a bit difficult, but that's to be expected because electrical engineering is a challenging field.

It is worth for doing Civil engineering in this reputed college.
Placements: In our college, out of 480 students, 300 were placed in the civil engineering branch (Land T, Godrej, Boyce, IRB, etc.). Reputed companies visited for placement in the core branch. 24 students were placed with an average package of 5 LPA and we got an internship in Pune metro. It was also beneficial for every student ready for industry.
Infrastructure: The college has a great campus on the highway, also near a metro station and all types of sports facilities, including Wi-Fi, proper labs with precise instruments, classrooms and well-maintained civil departments that hold all types of instruments. The mess and canteen are also situated on campus with hygienic facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable about industrial requirements but they are not available for teaching. They are busy testing building materials coming from private firms, so it was a tough task to contact them. Curriculum designed for making students easily placed into industries but having tough exams to pass into them.

    Very good industry knowledge.
Placements: Approximately 5-10% of electrical engineering students get placed, with opportunities generally limited to smaller companies rather than large multinationals. The highest salary offered is around INR 36.5 LPA, depending on the year and company. The average salary is INR 24.5 LPA. The median salary for all branches in 2023 was INR 4.5 LPA. Companies such as Cummins, Godrej, Mahindra, IBM, ICICI Bank, Capgemini, and Infosys hire from the college, but the number of positions offered to electrical engineering students specifically may be limited.
Infrastructure: AISSMS College of Engineering in Pune offers robust infrastructure and facilities that enhance the academic experience for engineering students, including those in electrical engineering. The campus features well-equipped labs for hands-on learning, spacious classrooms, and a library with an extensive collection of books and digital resources. Additionally, the college provides Wi-Fi access for academic purposes, though connectivity for personal devices may be limited in some areas. The campus also includes seminar halls, auditoriums, and dedicated zones for academic and extracurricular activities. The college canteen is known for serving hygienic and affordable food, which students appreciate. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, providing clean and adequate accommodations.
Faculty: The electrical engineering curriculum at AISSMS College of Engineering is designed to align with industry standards, ensuring students are well-prepared for practical applications in the field. Courses emphasize both foundation concepts and advanced topics, and incorporate hands-on labs to build industry-relevant skills. Exams can be challenging, but effective faculty guidance helps students succeed, with a pass rate typically around 70-80%.
Other: For many students, choosing electrical engineering stems from an interest in understanding and designing systems that power and automate our world, especially if they enjoy problem-solving in fields like power systems, control systems, and electronics. Key strengths of the course at AISSMS include practical labs, knowledgeable faculty, and industry-aligned curricular. The campus hosts events and fests, with a lively crowd and active clubs. It? S well-connected, with Pune? S city attractions nearby, and offers scholarships and extracurricular, including sports, coding clubs, and cultural fests.

Placements: About 70% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 20LPA, and the average package was 7LPA. Some of the top recruiters include L&T, Tata Power, and Siemens. In addition, about 75% of students got internships with top firms like TCS and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-equipped and conducive for the BE electrical engineering course. Classrooms and laboratories are well-equipped with the latest tools and technology, allowing students to gain more practical knowledge with theoretical. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards for enhancing the teaching experience.
Faculty: The faculty are very experienced, with 8-10 years of experience, and they are also very kind and helpful. The curriculum is according to SPPU, which is kind of outdated. However, recently it has been changed or revised to include the latest and industry-ready syllabus. The exams are quite simple, as long as you study regularly.
Other: I'm a student at AISSMSCOE, and I think the course is a good value for the money. You gain a lot of knowledge in electrical engineering, and the curriculum is updated to make you industry-ready. The campus and student life are very nice, and there's no ragging. The college holds a big event called SHIVANJALI, which lasts for three days and features guest speakers. There are also club events for entertainment. The college is located in a prime location and has good connectivity by train, metro, and bus.

It's one of the best colleges after COEP and VIT.
Placements: College isn't good for Civil and Mechanical branch students due to the lack of good placement opportunities. Students only get placement opportunities in the IT sector. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and other mass-recruiting companies select candidates who know about IT sector programming languages. No Civil and Mechanical core branch students are selected.
Infrastructure: Facilities are at an average level, not as good as other colleges in Pune. However, the campus is very vast for sports events. The library is not maintained well, and hostel facilities are very expensive, not affordable for middle-class students. Also, the college lacks proper mess facilities, unlike NIT, where the canteen food is not hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members are also not good because everyone is newly recruited and they are on a contract basis, so they are unfamiliar with the syllabus. Additionally, the industrial requirement course curriculum is not good, there are no marks for projects and internships, so it is tough to get passed.
