It is a small college, but the amenities and pass-out percentage are good.
Placements: Every batch has 40 students. Admission procedures are based on NATA ranking and state entrance examination named KEAM. It is a semi-private institution, so 25% of the seats are privatised. The interesting factor is we have a 100% internship option, and students are allowed to do internships over any country. International companies, including Zaha Hadid Architects, BIG and Foster Architects, are recruiting students by studying their portfolios.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our department is good. The college campus is good with lush greens and open spaces, which are very welcoming. They also provide all basic amenities like hot and cold drinking water, medic rooms, courtyards, open study areas, amphi, playground, canteen facilities, Wi-Fi, library, good classrooms, etc. The only drawback is they are not providing a hostel for boys. Only a lady's hostel is available, which is 2.5 km away from the college premises. They provide college transportation facilities for hostellers. Except that, everything is available for the growth of professional architecture students.
Faculty: The curriculum of our department is pretty good, and it makes sure that we are ready for the practical world. Our curriculum includes theory papers, design papers, vivas and jury. Faculty members are qualified and ready to help us in our journey. Exams are not as easy as we think. Still, about 85% of the students were able to pass with good grades. If you are an average but hardworking student, then it is pretty easy to clear all papers.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am always inspired by buildings and how they are related to our social and cultural aspects. I was a rank holder in the KEAM examination, so it's very easy to get into it. We have many in-and-out events. Every year we have a zonal NASA meetup, which is one of the best events. I like our campus, lush greenery, open spaces and large classrooms. Everything supports the connectivity among fellow students.
