Satisfied with my college as the college management is good and placement dept. is excellent.
Placements: The placements are good and most of the companies like Jaro education, paragon, Oracle, much more company's that help their college students to get a job before they complete their education. And every year each batch will get more maximum placement from the college drive.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure facilities are good, but their maintenance is not proper. They will provide the medical facilities like an ambulance, dropping from hospital to room for the patients. In the hostel, they are providing the Wi-Fi but limited to 1 GB per day only and they very efficient to provide the facilities to the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and well-qualified teachers, and they conduct more and more extra curriculum activities which help the student to grow, and also help each student in groups. The lecturers are too friendly with students.

The worst College. Please ask review and join.
Placements: The worst Placement Ever. Bring companies come for namesake. They boost saying we do Pragathi, but do you know how many people really get an offer letter?. Only 1% students get the offer letter, rest is all fake.
Infrastructure: The facility is average. Canteen average. The library is not good with fewer books. Sports support has reduced. Hostel rooms are the worst. You will fall sick soon. Before taking admission check hostel of other floors. I was shown a room that they keep clean painted to fool. Check other rooms.
Faculty: No faculty. Faculty members are very less, no staff members. Your future is bright don't ruin by joining this college. Don't be fooled. No experienced lecturers are there in this college. The worst condition.
Other: The worst College.

Worst college! Please don't waste your 2 years in this college.
Placements: No placement is there in MBA. The college shows the record of engineering departments about placement. It is the worst college. From my batch, hardly 4 students got selected.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst with no proper classroom. When I was in 1st year, they shifted the classroom 3 times. Classrooms are like 8th standard rooms. All the students of finance, marketing and HR are adjusted in 2 rooms from 2nd year onwards. You can visit the college and know the truth.
Faculty: Not much faculty is there. Only 5 faculty for 2 years. The college is a total disaster. No freedom is present. Even though I am working now but my college memories are bad. They treat us like small kids. Teaching is very bad.
Other: No fest is held here. They take money for the same though. It is compulsory to pay 500 INR during sports day.

Course Curriculum at Alvas College - B.E./B.Tech

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of the course curriculum at Alvas College:

* Teaching Quality: The teachers are generally considered qualified and knowledgeable, providing good teaching quality. However, some students felt that the curriculum needs to be updated to keep pace with industry requirements.
* Curriculum Relevance: While the curriculum covers important topics, some students felt that it may not be entirely industry-ready, with some students pursuing non-technical roles despite having a technical education.
* Semester Exams: Semester exams are manageable, with teachers explaining the entire syllabus clearly making it easier to grasp concepts.
* Project Work: Although not explicitly mentioned, one can infer that projects might be part of the curriculum, considering the emphasis on practical knowledge.
* Elective Courses: Not specifically mentioned, but considering the institution's focus on technical skills, elective courses related to specializations (e.g., circuit design, digital electronics) might be included.

In summary, while Alvas College seems to have a decent teaching quality and relevance to the curriculum, there is room for improvement in terms of keeping up with industry trends and expectations.
