So happy to be in this college.
Placements: Campus placement drives will take place regularly, and prior training will also be provided. College also hosts Udhyoga Mels and placement drives like Alvas Pragathi, which ensures most students are placed. Many top companies also conduct drives in the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained and well structured. Labs have good infrastructure and necessary instruments. There is a digital library in the college. Hostel is comfortable and close to the college. Hostel is quite strict. Good medical facilities are available.
Faculty: All teachers, including wardens and other faculty members, are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Teaching quality is very good. Course curriculum is relevant. They provide hands-on practice to students. Pass percentage is more than 50%.
Other: I wish they support extracurricular activities more and take the necessary steps. They should also support NCC and make it government-aided as soon as possible.

I recommend this college for good placements and learning.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Just Pay, TCS, Sake Technology, and So on. Almost 60% of students got internships from this course. Top roles offered are software developer, data scientist, and Java developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided are top-notch and include Wi-Fi of high speed. Labs are highly recommended. Classrooms are well furnished. We can find the library in a very updated state which includes journals. In the hostel, the food quality is good. We have 24/7 medical facilities. Grounds are used for sports.
Faculty: In this college, we have qualified faculty members. Teachers are very helpful in clearing the doubts. Their way of teaching is helpful for students to understand the topics very clearly. This course prepares students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. Almost 90% of the students would pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because it is helpful for the future. The best thing about this course is we can learn the topics practically. In this college, they conduct various events like sports, dance, and others.

Satisfied with the opportunity that I got here.
Placements: 95% of students placed – the highest 21 LPA, the lowest 3.7 LPA, average 6-7 LPA.
Companies like INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JUSPAY, TCS, COGNIZANT, and 30% from ISRU, Effigo, etc. (which I don’t remember) came for recruitment.
Top roles offered in our course include SDE, backend engineer, data scientist, and more.
Infrastructure: College facilities are good. We have good Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms.
Facilities in hostels are also good, but some days the food is good and some days it is not.
Medical facilities are also good but a little expensive.
You get outings only on Sundays, from 9 am to 2 pm.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good, and some are not. They know the concept but don't know how to deliver it.
Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.
Some teachers come just to complete the portion, not to deliver quality education.
Other: The best thing about my college is the programs that are conducted here, such as traditional cultural events like Virasat, Jamburi, Nodisiri, and more. You get lots of opportunities to learn.

Overall, it is a good college, but Max doesn't recommend it because of its very strict rules.
Placements: This year, placements are less than 45% for our electronic branch students. The remaining students are still trying. The highest salary is 5 lacs per annum in our branch, and the lowest is 3 lacs per annum. I don't remember the names of the companies. Additionally, every student who is placed is doing an internship.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the facilities available: a Wi-Fi, advanced labs, a library with more than 80,000 engineering books, and an MBA program. The campus environment is friendly to students. Ragging can't be seen at any corner of the college. There is a good canteen at the center of the college.
Faculty: Many of the teachers here hold Ph.D. degrees and have the best knowledge. However, we can see some teachers who pretend to have knowledge but lack substance. Due to poor management at the college, they recruited bad faculty members who pass time during class hours. However, the pass percentage in our college is good; it is above 85%.
Other: Many cultural activities are conducted here.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements, management and their culture.
Placements: Regarding placements, in our batch in CSE, we had hardly 30% placements, including off campus, where students attended on their own. And compared to other branches, CSE is the least likely to get placed this time. Some companies blacklist Alva's, such as Jeugos Studios, Infosys, and Wipro. Most of them are placed in small-scale companies. Only 8 people got placed in the large-scale company from the CSE branch. Yes, regarding placements, I do not recommend students. It's better to join Sahyadri or MITE in Mangalore. Placement training will be given by charging 15000, which is of no use.
Infrastructure: Hostel wardens are good, and facilities such as gym, sports, etc. In any kind of emergency, 24-hour vans are available, but you must pay the amount. Never choose Alva's, even by mistake; you won't get placed, and most of the banners about placement you see are scams; not even 50% got placed.
Faculty: Experienced faculty members have already left the college for some reason. Faculty members of the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry Departments are highly skilled and qualified. The rest, if the faculty members do nothing during class hours, just come, read PPT and share notes in the classroom. The student-faculty relationship is poor. Faculty members most of the time tried to detain students by not signing No Dues because management supported them, as if they resigned from their jobs, the college wouldn't have any faculty members. But it was not a good experience in college.
Other: Events, fests or any programme are not organized. You cannot have this in Alva's. It's been 4 years, and not even a single event has made us enjoy being on campus. We go to other college to enjoy college life events by paying. This time, seniors planned a freshers party but management cancelled it. If you want academics and enjoyment, never join this college. Everything is a scam. I advise you not to join Alva's. Pay the same fees to other colleges and get a good job with a good salary. Stay Happy.

Placements are very bad. I wish they will get better in future days.
Placements: As a second-year student, I haven't seen any placements on my campus. They don't even call many companies to our branch. I have no idea about the other branches, but they are trying to improve the placement scenario. So far, I have not seen any of my seniors placed.
Infrastructure: There are many good faculty members, and we also have many lab facilities and forums in my college, like "Edwin's Lab," "VLSI Lab," and many more labs of that kind. As a hostel student, the fee is about 45k for a room shared with three people. It's good for the cost, and our college also gives more importance to cultural events.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, but we should also do more self-study. They conduct three internals but take the best of two. They also offer many courses and provide certificates for them. Also, from this year, that is, from the 2024 batch onwards, Alvas is an autonomous college, but the 2023 batch is under VTU.
Other: I was planning for CSE but didn't get it, so I got into ECE, but so far, my personal thought is if you are not into studying all the time, then please don't take ECE because it is way too tough. They don't provide any scholarships from the college, but we get SSP.

The overall seats available across all courses offered by Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology is up to 900. Good thing to know is that Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology has courses which are approved by prominent Government bodies like AICTE.
