    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research?

    Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here are some key points to consider:

    * Placement Record: The college has a decent placement record, with around 80% of students getting placed last year. The highest salary package offered was INR6 LPA, while the lowest was INR3 LPA. Major recruiters include Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Microtech.
    * Faculty: Students praise the faculty's willingness to help, with most professors being well-educated and experienced. However, a few students mentioned that not all teachers are equally skilled.
    * Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, with modern laboratories, a well-stocked library, and comfortable hostels. While the hostel amenities could improve, the college provides free Wi-Fi throughout the campus.
    * Campus Life: Students appreciate the peaceful surroundings and regular events, such as sports and cultural festivals, organized by the college.
    * Scholarships: The college offers scholarships to deserving students, particularly those from economically weaker backgrounds.

    However, some areas for improvement mentioned by students include:

    * Canteen Food: Some students found the canteen food to be overpriced and unappetizing.
    * Lack of Separate Time for Sports: Students expressed disappointment at having limited opportunities for physical activity due to a lack of dedicated time for sports.
    * Parking Issues: Parking spaces are limited, making it inconvenient for students to park their vehicles near the college.

    In conclusion, while Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research may have its drawbacks, it seems to offer a decent educational experience, a relatively good placement record, and a positive campus environment. Prospective students would do well to weigh these factors against their individual priorities when considering whether this college is right for them.

    Overall, This College is Really Good, with a Very Good Placement Record.
    Placements: As I am a final year student, many of my classmates are already placed, while others are working as interns. Packages have not yet been disclosed. Infosys and All Trust are among the recruiters. More than 50% of students got internships as web developers, software developers, software testers, security analysts, and data analysts.
    Infrastructure: The college has very good facilities. Wi-Fi is provided to everyone, and the labs have proper facilities. Wi-Fi is available in the classrooms as well as in the labs. There is good discipline, and all kinds of books are available in the library. I do not live in the hostel, but still, my hostel friends tell me that the food served there is very nutritious, and they are given food at the proper time according to the college schedule.
    Faculty: The faculty members of the college are very nice; they help a lot. They are well-educated and have complete knowledge of the topics they teach. If you ask them anything, they always help us. Whatever courses we study during the overall period between semesters are completely relevant to our course, and we are given complete knowledge of whatever subject is taught to us. In our college, instead of theory, more emphasis is placed on practical knowledge so that students can be made industry-ready and know what work they have to do in the industry. The passing percentage is only 33% as per the requirement of KUK; our college is affiliated with Kurukshetra University. Semester exams are also not too tough for those who have not studied.
    Other: I am interested in computer science engineering because I have been interested in this field from the beginning. I want to build my career in cybersecurity because there is scope in it. This college is as strict as schools; it gives the feeling of a school in this college.
