Dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: As I was from the biotechnology engineering, no core biotech company has visited the college to offer placements. The one that had come provided jobs in sales profile. Only a few renowned companies recruited the students from our college, that too by pool campus placement drives. To my knowledge, the highest package offered to our batch was 4 Lacs per annum.

Ambala college of engineering and applied research where education is a passion not a business.

Placements: Placement in this college was good enough but now a days there is not so, mostly the placement drive in this college is conducted for BPO's and VPO's or you can say call centre jobs are provided mostly. No such well reputed companies (ie HCL, DELL, IBM) visit in this college. So if any person wants to pursue his/her B.Tech course to get placed in a well reputed company so this is not the right place. But I must say the value is of person how much he/she is capable in his/her stream.

If you want to opt for government jobs or other services, then go for it.

Placements: Most of the placements were through off-campus. The companies that came to the college weren't technical companies. They were searching for marketing peoples and were paying very less. Overall, we can say that there is no secure future could be made just after the graduation.

My overall experience of this college.

Placements: There are no placements for the mechanical branch. The college will not effort to bring good mechanical companies, but they always try to promote IT. Our seniors also did not get a good job. I think there is no scope in the mechanical engineering, you should go for IT for getting placement.

Overall, a good college and can become the best in town if the focus is on areas lagging behind.

Placements: The placements for my senior batch i.e 2015 were quite high as compared to the batch in 2016. Most of them were placed in reputed companies such as Citrix, HP, Microsoft, Talwar and Talwar, etc. However, very few companies are invited for campus placements and students have to struggle hard off-campus for getting placed.

College life was good but I expected much better. For placements very few companies visit and sometimes not even a single one for the students. For placements a student should be aware about joint campus placements in other colleges. I was not happy with the placements. Still struggling for the better job.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements and infrastructure. Poor faculty

Placements: The placements are there but not in well known big MNCs. BPO's and Wipro come regularly and about 30-40 percent of a batch get placed in these companies.
