Dissatisfaction in course and infrastructure

Placements: About 60 to 70 percent students were placed. The average ranges between 7 to 8 lakhs, least is 5 lakhs and the highest as of now is 19 LPA for this year. Companies which recruited are SAP labs, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Accenture etc. Only 10 percent got external internships all others were given internships in amrita itself. Almost many roles were of SDE and SWE other than that I have no Idea.

Amrita : Real vs Reality .

Placements: So the batch in which I'm enrolled is Electronics and Computer Engineering (EAC). This course was introduced in 2019 and therefore we are the second batch. The first batch of pass outs was placed with almost 60% placements. Only a small number of students have gotten internships from our batch till now.

An average college.

Placements: The placement of mechanical students is not very good. Only 10–15 students are placed this year on campus placement grounds out of the 60–70. The mean package was 8 LPA. The top recruiting company is CAT (Caterpillar). I don't have information regarding internships. I am guessing very few internships.

My knowledge about my campus.

Placements: In 2022, the percentage stood at approximately 95%, whereas this year it hovers around 40%. The highest salary package offered was 52 CTC, while the lowest was 3LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Renowned companies such as Amazon, Infosys, and Cognizant were among the major recruiters. The internship percentage ranges from 50% to 80%, with companies like Cognizant, Infosys, and Google being the prominent ones. Job roles available include process analyst, web designer, and software developer, among o...

None of our staff take quick decisions they lag every possible thing that makes your life hard.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is about 95%. The highest salary package is about 35 LPA. You can be placed in both software and electrical companies. Almost 70% of students got internships from our course. The top role offered in our course is in the domain of the electrical car.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the college life.

Placements: The average salary package is 8.7 LPA. Around 93.5% were placed. IBM offers a high salary package. Placement cell helps in turning out their career in the right direction by providing job opportunities. Around 95% of students were placed with the highest salary package of 56.95 LPA. More than 200 companies visited for the placement drives.

Our college is satisfying but hectic.

Placements: Software engineer, Application developer, VLSI designer, and Android developer are the roles offered. Some people are also offered core jobs in electronics but the pay scale for electronics jobs is not very high. Mostly offered by mass recruitment companies like TCS and Infosys.

Our college is mediocre, and I am not very impressed with it.

Placements: Placements here are good, and0 around 96% of the students from the CSE got placed. Top recruiting companies for our college are Amazon and Cognizant. The highest salary package offered was around 25 LPA. If any student is interested will get an internship here. Our college conducts some separate coding classes and also cloud computing using Google cloud platform.

It provided moderately good placements in the year 2018.

Placements: About 90% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 27 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Global Elites, Cisco, Microsoft, Honeywell, Intuit, etc., visited our campus for placements. Top roles, like power engineer, systems engineer, associate engineer, etc., are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.9 LPA. About 90% ...

It is neither the greatest nor the worst.

Placements: I am still in my first year, so the information I am providing regarding the placements is solely details that I came to know from my seniors. Placements for CSE branch are amazing, but it is not that great for the other branches. Few core companies visit the campus here for recruitment of mechanical branch students. Even then, the college promises 100% placement as there are ample placement opportunities in the IT sector. For CSE branch, a lot of top companies like Google, IBM, Microsoft, Infos...

Average college. Not worth your money.

Placements: The placements are good but mostly IT companies come. But from my point of view, it's not worth for money. Only a handful of people get placed from all the campuses. The highest salary is 8L per year and the lowest is 3L per year. The placement opportunities are average and 99% are in IT companies.

This is a short review of Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri, Kollam, Kerala.

Placements: Placement for our batch was good. Companies like Bosch, CTS, TCS etc. were present and recruited in large numbers. They mainly recruited for their IT division. Those who got placed are now working in places like Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore etc. The college has a highly reputed corporate and industry relations office (CIR) which helps in training the individuals for better placement opportunities and company selection.

Average campus life. Above average course curriculum.

Placements: Many famous international IT companies are recruiting students from this campus. They have tie-ups with major technology companies also. So placements are sufficient. Yearly many technologies and other field companies are visiting this campus as part of the placement.

Faculty members are good. I am satisfied because there is the freedom to enjoy.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Bajaj Auto is the top recruiter. The internship percentage is very less. Mainly IT companies offered the average salary package of 3.5 LPA as compared to our course. The remaining branches get 100% placements.

Review of Amrita School of Engineering.

Placements: There are good placements. Many core companies are coming forward to the placement cell. A student should have a GPA of more than seven and should not have any backlogs, and then he will be placed in any company. The student should satisfy company requirements. All Amrita campus placements held at Coimbatore.

It is good to earn job, but do not have campus life. Stay away from management.

Placements: There are enough number of placements for computer science students. The salary offered ranges from 4 LPA to 21 LPA. Even reputed companies like Direct, Codechef, etc., visit the campus. The university works hard to make you placed in some jobs like conducting placement orientation class and provides previous materials, etc.
