Amrita college is an average college.

Placements: The placement was average this year since the market had a recession so the average salary went down. The CSE branch did well, but the other batch lacked. The average package was 9.47 lacs for my branch. 70% of people have been placed till now. Rest are still sitting in the college placement.

Review of Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

Placements: 69% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 72 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA, with an average package of 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies were CISCO, MATHWORKS, GOOGLE. Good course and curriculum with a good research faculty, and mostly the weather is good.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with its infrastructure and strict rules.

Placements: About 95% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is approximately 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Cisco, and Microsoft. Many students are placed before their fourth year or after the sixth semester. Some companies offer internship opportunities, and all kinds of roles are offered.

I'm very happy with this college.

Placements: More than 75% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA and the average salary package is 6 LPA. Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Wipro, Zomato, Google, TCS, HCL, Sams, Philips, Sony, and Bosch are the recruiting companies. Students have to maintain 85% to get placements.

Our college provides average placements and the worst facilities.

Placements: Around 92% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, the lowest salary package is 6 LPA, and the average salary package is 10 LPA. Microsoft is the top recruiting company for our course. Around 60% of students get internships in our course and 40% of students get internships in this college. Around 3 students got internships at Amazon.

Most of the students got placed in service-based companies.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in service-based companies but the placements are better. I think it's mostly dependent on an individual and their skills and from the third semester itself. We have a course called CIR which means corporate industry relations, these people teach us how to behave and what all skills are required for getting a good placement.

College life at Amrita has good and bad things here.

Placements: Placements are good. Should change the placement policy. If you are from CSE, definitely min 10lpa. Other branches brace for your luck. Cisco is the first company that comes for placements every year. Over the year placements have improved, but the policy needs to be changed from 2x.

I suggest you join this college as you can make great friends and enjoy B.Tech life.

Placements: As of now, about 60% of students from our course got placed. The percentage of students who get placed varies every year, but it will be good as many students get placed in companies. The highest salary package offered in our course is 50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Bosch, Wipro, etc., visit our campus for placements. Very few students from our course got an internship. A top role offered is VLSI designer.

I am satisfied with faculty members and some active clubs.

Placements: For engineering, our college has 3 campuses. In those for placements, Coimbatore is in the first place, Amritapuri is in the second place, and Bengaluru is in the last. In the Bengaluru campus, we only get average and mass placements. I suggest not to expect premium companies and decent salaries.

Infrastructure and facilities are very bad.

Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed in our college. In our course, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Caterpillar, Dassault Systems and some other companies visit our college. Less than 25 students got an internship.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members and the facilities which they provide for taken money.

Placements: At least 65% of the passed out students got placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month and the highest salary offered is 1 lac per month. Cisco and Oracle are the top recruiting companies which offered top salary packages for our students. Many students got internships, but most of them skipped those because they got placed in some other companies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of hostel food.

Placements: For my batch, placements are very less than our senior batch. About 75% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, CTS, Versa and many more visited the campus for placements. Roles offered to the students depend on the companies as some companies want software developer while other companies want a tester. So they depend on the company.

A good academically oriented college with fairly good placements.

Placements: Fairly good placements especially for Computer Science students. 95% get placed. Maximum placement figures are around 20 lac per annum fot CSE. 15 LPA for ECE and around 8 for mechanical branch. Placements will miatly be held in the Coimbatore campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure and Wi-Fi.

Placements: The placements in our branch are comparatively less. The average annual pay is less. The students are getting placed but with the very low less packages. More opportunities are provided to computer science engineering students. Almost 100% placements are provided. Lots of companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys, etc., come to the campus.

Absolutely good faculty, good placements and not so vast campus.

Placements: Placements for computer Science students are good compared to other department students, but the percentage of people getting placed has decreased for our senior batch and the percentage might still decrease for our batch. Overall 80 percent of the students are getting placed. The highest package this year was 26 Lacs per annum for a CSE student of our campus and the average salary package might be 3lakhs per annum. The lowest packages 2 Lacs per annum. There is a placement cell called CIR depar...

Good faculty. Very low campus placements. You will lose freedom in life.

Placements: As per my knowledge, every student gets placed, but the placement of the students in their respective core company depends on his/her CGPA and grip on the subject. No electrical core companies visit the campus for placement. CSE and ECE students get a guaranteed placement if he/she has minimum eligibility.

My college life was the best of my life.

Placements: Most of them are computer science students. There were few core placements, but unfortunately, not many of them could surmount the eligibility criteria as it is difficult to maintain a decent CGPA. Many of the core branches visited the mass companies and are still waiting for the call letters.

Placements: For our batch, it was less than our senior's batch. The previous year, the average salary was high but now it has reduced. The highest salary offered is 19 lakh per annum and the lowest is 1.8 lakh per annum. Most of the roles are that of developers, consultant and network engineers. There are many things which have to be improved.

Placements: The placements will be up to 80% of the eligible students, secured were 70-80%. The highest is 12LPA , the least 3.24LPA and the average is 4.5 LPA. About 20-30 companies visited which includes Musigma, TCS, Cerner, and Cisco. The roles were offered based on their training performance, but mostly were developmental roles. Internships are about 10-15% with stipend ranged from Rs. 5-15000.
