Satisfied about the college in every aspect except the teaching methods by some of the faculties.

Placements: I think 60 to 70 percent students were placed. The highest package was 12 lpa and the lowest was 5 lpa, I guess. The average was 8 lpa. Top recruiting firms included TCS, Oracle, Infosystems, Cognizant, and others. Since I am in my 3rd year currently, I am not sure about the internship. Top roles offered in the course were data analyst and data scientist.

Infrastructure: Our entire campus is enabled with 5G, which is quite faster. Our lab has the best facilities, which are of high standards. The hostel facilities are good. But the hostel food was not up to the mark. We have medical facilities even with an ambulance. The canteen food is actually great.

Faculty: The teachers are friendly , helpful, and qualified. But someone of them is qualified and doesn't know how to teach properly. The teaching quality depends on the teachers. I would rate the teaching quality some 7 out of 10. The course is relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams depends on the subjects and the faculty who prepares them.

Other: I chose this course because it's a combination of math and computer science, which are the areas of interest I enjoy. There are annual tech events as well, even sports events.

My review of my college, Amrita College.

Placements: Placements are available and arranged by the institution from many reputed companies and even from banks. The highest package of 2 lakhs and the lowest package of 20,000 rupees are being offered from this course. Reputed banks such as Federal Bank have conducted interviews here.

Infrastructure: Our college has high and reputed infrastructure which is well maintained and disciplined by workers and other faculty members anywhere on the campus. We have a big central library with all needed books for our syllabus and also reputed novels and journals by famous writers. Classrooms are really neat and clean, and laboratories have all needed instruments. The hostel is highly hygienic with workers cleaning it every day. There is a small clinic with 24/7 availability of a doctor and medical support system. Games such as football, cricket, and basketball are played on campus. There is a swimming pool where you only have to pay 40 rupees per hour.

Faculty: We have a big group of teachers who are easily approachable and helpful in all our academic studies and processes. With their contacts, many of us have benefited from internships in reputed colleges. Quizzes and seminars are conducted in class to evaluate internal assessment marks out of 20. 30% of the marks are calculated from the mid-semester examination, and 50% of the marks from the end-semester examination. The pass mark is 40 out of 100.
