B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2021

ALIET: The Placements Are the Worst Here, Faculty Is Not Experienced
Placements: There are very few placements in our college. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 1.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys and Tech Mahindra. Only 10% of students got placed in my academic year. Many students received internship offer letters from various companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. We have a library, Wi-Fi, projectors in classrooms, and computer labs. The hostel is well maintained with good rooms and hygienic food. The canteen food is average. Large grounds are available for sports. The college provides sports essentials like balls, bats, wickets, nets, etc.
Faculty: The faculty is not very experienced and needs a lot of training. Only a few teachers are helpful in providing quality education. The course curriculum is relevant but mainly focuses on theoretical aspects rather than practical ones. The semester exams are average. They are easy to pass if you cover the syllabus.
Other: There are only a few events. One of them is Epistemicon, which is conducted annually and includes food, games, and technical competitions.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2023
3.4

ALIET - An honest and true review to consider before you join.
Placements: Since my course is civil engineering, it is obviously not certain that we will get placements in campus recruitment. Also, in my college, during a recession, it is impossible for us to get placed. But other groups, like computer science students, got good placements as usual. The average pay was 3.6 LPA. Only around 40 to 50% of the students got placed.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great. We have a library, all kinds of labs in very good condition, a ground for all sports, and a canteen with reasonable prices. I do not stay in the hostel, but I learned from friends that they are not great. The food is also okay. There is a strict timely schedule in the hostel. Many permissions are needed for taking leave.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified for their posts. Teaching methods are good with all facilities available. The course curriculum included all needed syllabi for all subjects, practical and lab sessions, and projects as needed. Semester exams are a bit tough since they are set by JNTUK for us. The pass percentage was 70% for our batch.
Other: I liked civil engineering from the beginning, so I opted for this course, and now I am planning for a postgraduate degree abroad. I wish the college had been autonomous when I joined so that I would not have had to go out for semester exams. We do not have any fests or events in the college, especially for our department. CSE groups usually have events or fests with the principal's permission. Sports are allowed, which is great.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2024
2.8

B.Tech life in Loyola family.
Placements: Maximum out of 100%, at least 10-15% of students will get placed in the placements. The highest package is 4-6 LPA, the average package is 2 LPA, and the least is 1.5 LPA. Not many companies come to our college, but some small companies will come and conduct online drives for placement hiring. About 40-60% of students will go to internships because of stipends or other reasons. Coming to my course, I have completed my degree in mechanical engineering, so my branch roles in the mechanical field were mostly labor work during internships or in companies.
Infrastructure: Coming to our college facilities, it is one of the best and better colleges to join because the facilities provided by the college are good and the infrastructure is very good and clean. The Wi-Fi is better to use for every student and faculty, and the labs and library are also disciplined and quiet to study. The worst thing in our college is the hostel due to not having good food or proper timings to study. There are also no sports events or games to participate in.
Faculty: Our branch faculty are good and well-qualified. Some faculty were best at explaining, teaching, or clarifying doubts, and some were best at showing PPTs on screens and explaining topics. The faculty was better to have. Semester exams were not that difficult; if we were prepared, we could clear any subject without fear. The percentage of passing the semester was around 50-70%.
Other: At first, we need to select the best course before we join B.Tech. Since I have an interest in the mechanical engineering field, I chose the course and completed my degree. My only wish was that I hadn’t neglected the internal exams, like midterms, when I was studying, because of those internals we can get extra grades in semester exams. There were no events, fests, or programs when I was studying. So, my 4 years of college life were boring and a waste.

Review of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: About 60% of students in final year are placed in good companies like electronic companies. Many IT companies also offer chances to get into it through skill and hard work. We can get placement as freshers. The average salary package offered iof 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: College has many labs for the core as well as computer labs and even simulation labs. It also has a big library with many books, but we have restrictions on the use of mobile phones inside college premises. I suggest joining the college hostel only if we can handle its very strict rules.

Strong faculty, an industry-relevant curriculum, and vibrant campus life with excellent facilities.
Placements: About 20 to 23 members got placed this year, but most of them are not related to the IT field. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. Maybe 5 to 6 members were offered internships, and most of the companies are startups. There were no MNC companies that visited.
Infrastructure: The Computer Science department offers high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs, and smart classrooms with modern teaching aids. The library provides access to digital resources and books relevant to the field. Hostels are generally comfortable with clean facilities, while the mess offers decent food with multiple cuisines.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, approachable, and well-qualified, ensuring good teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented, preparing students with essential skills. Semester exams are moderately tough but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is generally high, reflecting strong academic support.
Other: I chose this course for its strong curriculum and career opportunities in technology. The best aspects are the hands-on learning and industry relevance, though more practical exposure and updated tools would be welcome. The campus offers vibrant events, a diverse crowd, good connectivity, and various extracurricular activities, along with scholarship opportunities.

Review of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: The top few roles I know are embedded engineer, associate developer, support associate, software developer, circuit analyst, Testing engineer, etc. From the R20 batch, students the internship is mandatory for everyone, but before the R20 regulation, it is not mandatory.
Infrastructure: In this college, one separate room is allocated for medical purposes, especially for girls (for their personal reasons). For boys also, they provide medicine for issues like stomach ache, fever, etc. The food provided by the college maintains good quality.
Faculty: From now on, the examinations are conducted in our college itself because our college has become autonomous. The examination pattern and invigilation are very strict and difficult. The curriculum ensures that students will be perfect and gain good knowledge.
