Don't join this college. Private college is better than this university.

Placements: Only software companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys visited here for placements. None of the core companies visited here. Even though for these software companies, there's no information from the placement officer. The worst administration of this university. For core, only 1 company visited here, and none of us got placed.

Review of School of Distance Education-Andhra University.

Placements: Very few core companies related to the electrical field visited the campus. Remaining were the usual IT companies offering low packages and poor roles. Approximately, 50% of the students were left unplaced in my batch. The internships are never taken seriously. No company visits our campus to offer internships.

The worst university in whole country.

Placements: We are getting a number of companies for the placements but for the instrumentation we are not getting core companies. So most of the people are shifting to software side. Andhra University must invite more companies for recruitment. Many companies like TCS, wipro are coming but those are not eligible for instrumentation.

Absolutely disappointed because of the infrastructure, the curriculum and the administration.

Placements: No placements are offered this year. In the previous year, there were a few companies, but no companies have visited this year till now. The highest package offered in the last year was Rs. 5 LPA which is very less. There is no proper placement office and there lies the issue.

The worst period of my life was spent at Andhra University

Placements: The placements were bad. We had only 3 companies for civil out of which 2 companies did not consider girls. The highest package was only 5 lakhs per annum and there is no proper placement committee. On a whole, it was pretty much average and only 10% of the batch got placed.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are very poor in our college. Over 1000 students graduate every year but only 50-70 are placed. Software companies which come take only computers students. There are no professional core placements. Sometimes placements are partial to particular departments.
