Is NMIMS Mumbai worth it?

Placements: Most students from BSc Finance pursue a career in Investment banking, Private equity, Equity research or Consulting. NMIMS has a record of stellar placements. Many big giants come to NMIMS for recruitment. The average package for Bsc Finance at NMIMS Mumbai is around 10-14 lpa.

I am happy that I am learning and growing knowingly or unknowingly.

Placements: Almost everyone who applies gets placed, but the quality of placements isn't great. We also need to understand that no matter how professional, it is just a bachelor's course. Marketing people get better packages. For example, one of my friends got placed in Zomato at around 8 LPA which is great after BBA. But most of the finance students got placements of around 4-5 LPA.

Review of Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, NMIMS, Mumbai.

Placements: According to me, I think 90% of people are placed. Out of them, some have got 16 LPA as well, while the average goes in the range of 6-8 LPA. There are many students who have got internships; one of my friends got an internship in a highly reputed company in Mumbai itself.

NMIMS- from the eyes of a CFA Aspirant.

Placements: 80-90% of the students who sat in placements were recruited by a company, with the average package ranging from 5-7 Lacs. The highest package given in my course was 10 Lacs. The placements in NMIMS are perfect if you just want to get 2-3 years of job experience before your post graduate degree.

Our college provides good faculty members and curriculum but has a deceptive infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has 100% placements. I'm not aware of the highest and the lowest salary packages. However, the average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies including EY, DE Shaw, Tresvista, Barclays, JP Morgan and many more visit our campus. The placement cell does provide internships. However, I didn't opt for the same. One drawback about the placement overall is the lack of clarity and guidance to the students by the college. However, that is compensated if t...

Standing out of my own box.

Placements: I did not sit for placements, so I cannot comment on it. However, 2 of my close friends were happy with their placements, hence I'm giving my ratings based on that. The roles offered by the companies varied from very basic to medium level of job roles.

Placements: Roles like a business analyst and business developer are offered to the students. Less than 20% of the students from our course got placement. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Decathlon, Deloitte and EY visited our college for placements. It is compulsory for students to do an internship after the 2nd year. Excellent faculty and exposure.

Placements: The colleges promise 100% placements. Many multinational companies come to the campus for recruitment. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 4-5 LPA. Many students don't sit for placements since they want to continue with their further studies, but the placements are pretty decent.

One of the best colleges when it comes to doing BBA.

Placements: The placements were not as promised. There were a few big companies that came with finance profiles. The highest package offered was 15,00000 and the lowest was 2,00,000. However, the placement cell works really hard to get more and more companies for recruitment.

The course curriculum is holistic to do MBA. The college created a strong base for an MBA.

Placements: I didn't look for placements, but the highest package offered to our batch was 9.5 LPA which is a significant amount for just a BBA graduate. All reputed companies visited the campus, but they provided less package. The job offered helpful to gain experience, which shall help get into a good masters college and develop in the corporate quickly.
