Academy of technology as a college.

Placements: Placements are very in the mechanical department. No proper placement are happened here as only the pool campus drive is conducted here every time. The core companies also do not come here. Most of the students giving their effort for GATE examination placement cell is also present here.

Satisfied by the placements in AOT.

Placements: Companies like SAP, Oracle, Persistent, TCS, Mindtree, Godrej, IBM, Capgemini and many others come to the college for recruitment. Last year TCS hired 204 students with a package of 3.36 LPA which was the 2nd highest recruitment of TCS compared to all the other colleges in WB. Those who cracked TCS contests (e.g. codevita) got a package of 4.60 LPA. SAP hired 2 and Oracle recruited 4 students, and many other companies hired many students. As a total, CSE had around 99% placements, and for all th...

A good college with reasonable placement scenario but satisfactory facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements offered in the CSE, IT, AEIE streams are good. However ME, EE and ECE does't have much placements. This year around 200 were placed in TCS from all branches. Companies like Oracle, Johnson Controls, Godrej, etc. Visit our campus. Ambuja Cements gave a nice package this year for ME students. Intern opportunities are however very low. They are on the student's own idea and hardly any exposure for that is given.

It's not a college. It's just a school without a uniform.

Placements: CSE is the best department for placements in our college, all over the time. In 120 students, 102 were placed in our senior batch. The highest salary was 7.2 LPA in SAP Labs, and the lowest was 3.4 LPA in TCS. SAP, Persistent, IBM, Wipro, Oracle, TCS, Mindtree, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Tavant, ADP, etc. are the companies that visited. A very few students got internships from our college. I got a stipend of Rs. 5,000 in internship. We have a placement cell, and it is very much careful towards st...

If you are interested in your education- it's the one to go for, no scope for fun though.

Placements: The placements are excellent if you are from the Computer Science department. In other streams there are a number of companies that come for campus placements, but most are IT companies. The number of core companies for Electrical and Mechanical are a bit on the lower side, but they do come.

The college is too much strict.

Placements: The placements are good for the earlier batch and current year batch too. TCS recruited more than 400 students in this year. The minimum requirement to sit for placements is 10th, 12th, and throughout B.Tech the percentage must be more than 60%. Other companies such as Oracle, Jhonson Control, Capgemini, Accenture, etc., also recruited many students.

Good placement, great faculty and nice environment.

Placements: This college has stood out in this year's placement drive by placing a great number of students in various companies including TCS, MindTrek, Oracle, and some more. TCS has given jobs to 201 students on their 2017 campus drive. The placement for departments like CSE, ECE, IT is great, but it needs a bit more attention for the EE, ME and AEIE courses. The placement is around 75% on an average for the fourth-year students.

Very good placements for the 2018 batch, extremely good for studying environment and bright career.

Placements: In my batch, 46 electrical students got selected in TCS this year, and the remaining placements were as follows: 1 for Godrej and Boyce (+1 waiting list), 2 for Ambuja Cement, 1 for Grind Master and 1 in Wipro. Also, for the senior batches, the placements were pretty good. You can visit their site aot.edu.in to know more.

AOT, dreams don't come into reality but reality is realized here.

Placements: The college is best for IT sector placements. Very good companies come during the 7th semester and continue to come during the 8th semester as well. But, not so much happening for core streams although students get placed somewhere or the other at the end of the day.

A good college to study but the placements are not good for core students.

Placements: I got placed in TCS as an assistant system engineer trainee. The placement for core branches is not really that good. 3-4 core companies came for pool campus interview for core branches. The college will show you that they are trying their best to place you in a company, but the jobs are very limited, and so is the placement of the college.
