The WBJEE 2025 exam date has been announced for AOT- Academy of Technology admission to the BTech and BPharm courses. As per the notification, the WBJEE 2025 exam will be conducted on Apr 27, 2025.
- The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam for admission to BE/BTech courses is scheduled to be held between Jan 22 and Jan 29, 2025. For BArch and BPlan courses, the exam is to be conducted on Jan 30, 2025.

Good infrastructure, good placement and also good faculty members.
Placements: 85%-90% of students were placed out of 100%. The highest package was 45 lakhs, the lowest package was 3.5 lakhs, and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies of our college were TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, IBM, Amazon, and so on. 90-95% of students got internships from my course, mainly at TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, IBM, Amazon, etc. Roles offered include manager, employee, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college library, there is also a fully Wi-Fi-connected e-book library and more than 500 classrooms. In our college hostel, enough books are available so far. In our college canteen, the quality of food is good enough. Many sports are also available in our college, like football, volleyball, basketball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers of our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our college is good enough. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready as well. The semester exam of this college is moderate. The pass percentage is approximately 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the coding field. The best thing about my course is the software-related studies. I want much more educated faculty members for the coding lab for the 1st semester.

AOT where your dream gets a new start in your life and you can fulfill it.
Placements: Every year, over 500+ students are placed in such reputed companies. Our college gives every CSE student placement via on campus. If anyone wants to do off-campus work, then there is also a chance to do that, but college will also give you a job. Our top recruitment companies are TCS, Cognizant, Persistence, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is excellent. Our college has various labs for various subjects, just like computer-related labs, electric labs, physics labs, workshop labs, etc. Our college has a central library where many books are available, and there is also a seating arrangement for reading books.
Faculty: Our all teachers are well educated about the subjects they teach. They studied at such famous colleges as IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, etc. Our semester exam is tough because MAKAUT organised the exam, not our college, and the minimum percentage for passing is 40%.
Other: I choose this course. because the AOT CSE department is famous for their facilities and for well placements. Our college organized the Arcadia 2024 college fest, which is just an amazing experience.

Reviewing Academy of Technology.
Placements: Academy of Technology offers pretty decent placements. Almost 96-97% students are getting placed in the college placements. The average package offered here is around 4-4.5 Lacs per annum. Also some of the students prefer to go for higher studies after B.Tech and appear for GATE exam.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Academy of Technology is really good and the hostels are also quite good. Boys and girls are offered separate hostels at Academy of Technology. There is a big general library along with Departmental Libraries. There are also multiple auditoriums and a big canteen.
Faculty: Teaching faculty and staff is also quite good here at Academy of Technology. Teachers are highly qualified in their fields and some of them have their Ph.D. degrees as well. They motivate the students for both higher studies and placements. They always help the students to clear any doubts.

All about AOT by a student.
Placements: About 80% to 90% of students got placed. Most students were placed at Cognizant. More students were placed off-campus than on-campus. The highest package was 23.72 LPA, the lowest was 3.2 LPA, and the average package was 4.54 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: The lab infrastructure is pretty good. There are computers available for students, and teachers are very helpful. Wi-Fi is connected to the PCs, but we cannot use it for our own purposes because the PCs run Pluma OS, which is more difficult to use than Windows. Also, the admin always monitors the devices. Hostels are good but somewhat expensive. They serve two meals a day. For sports, some teachers are available to guide you. Football, cricket, volleyball, and badminton are played in the evenings.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and have proper knowledge about their subjects. They teach more than the syllabus so that we can easily crack any interview. Semester exams are difficult, but the pass percentage is quite good. The only problem is the 75% attendance requirement.
Other: The career scope in CSE is better than other B.Tech courses, so I chose this course. The best thing about my course is learning new things, like new languages and computer functions. AOT is best known for its fest; on that day, you see AOT in a new light. The college campus is excellent. There are no college scholarships available, only the Swami Vivekanand merit-cum-means scholarship.

Academy of Technology College provides good placements and is value for money.
Placements: Placements are quite good. Almost all students from our course get placed who are in the passing out batch. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Roles offered are software engineer and software developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are quite good. There is no Wi-Fi. Hostels are not that good. The canteen is not clean. There are playgrounds, but you can't play as the faculty is pretty strict. There is supposed to be a coach for games, but there are none.
Faculty: Our teachers are good, helpful, and well-qualified. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is a bit backdated, though it makes students industry-ready. Our college is affiliated with MAKAUT. The curriculum is not very up-to-date. Exams are very difficult.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer science since 11th grade. The best thing about our course is that it has a future and I'm a bit interested in it. Our college should update the curriculum of our course. There are many events in the college. The biggest event named Arcadia is held.

A brief review on Academy Of Technology, Hooghly.
Placements: The placements at AOT have not been good in recent years. Although the college showcases 141% placement statistics on its placement record, most of these are multiple offers made to the same students. The average package offered by the companies on-campus is 3.5-4 LPA. Companies such as Cognizant, TCS, and Persistent come for placements every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at AOT is quite good. The college has 2 hostels, one each for boys and girls. There is a central library which has over 1 lakh books and journals. Every branch has its own building. There is a basketball court, a volleyball court, a gymnasium, and a football field.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are IIT-NIT graduates and hold PhDs in their respective fields. The college follows a set curriculum and syllabus put forth by the university, i.e., MAKAUT. Semester exams are conducted twice, and there are class assessments that are conducted every month according to the MAKAUT routine.
Other: The annual cultural fest, Arcadia, is hosted by the college every year in the month of March-April. There are various clubs and student chapters in the college which host lots of events throughout the year.
