It is one of the top 3 B.Tech colleges in Bengal.

Placements: While other colleges are struggling to give placements, 50% of the AOT students are already placed until December. In other colleges of Kolkata strikes are going on and many issues regarding placement. AOT didn't face such things in history. By the month of March, more than 80 percent of the students will be placed.

My college is the best, and I am proud of it.

Placements: The college is providing excellent placements for the computer science and IT engineers. Not only for them but also the other branch students are eligible for that software companies. The core companies for the core departments are less, and it is the major problem in all the colleges of West Bengal. Overall, they are providing the good placements for the students.

CSE, IT and ECE have the highest percentage of placements. Whole round the year placements occur. Most of IT companies come during the odd semester and core companies come during the even semester. Almost out of 700 students, 500 get placed.

Placements: Only IT companies come for campusing. But only students who have good academics get selected. Even if others have better communication and coding skills. If you score well, you will probably get placed in an IT company. But forget about core companies.
