AOT is a top privately-owned engineering college of West Bengal.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite high for the past few years. Almost 91% of the eligible students across all departments get placed in the top IT companies like TCS, Amazon, Byju's, IBM, Infosys, Accenture, CTS, etc., in 2019 which has been the highest of its 17-years short span of history. For the electrical engineering department, the placement scenario is around 70% in both core and IT fields. Review of AOT - Academy of Technology.

Placements: There are more than 650 students in the final year, and out of them, 350 students are eligible for placements. Only IT companies visited our campus for recruitment, but there were no core companies. Mainly TCS and CTS visit here every year. The highest salary package offered is 5.6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3.25 LPA. The placement percentage will vary depending on the stream. If it is IT, CSE and ECE departments, then it will be around 90%, but if it is EE and ME departments...

Our college is very strict, but it has an average infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: Previous year the students of ATO managed to achieve 92% of placements (approximately) as per June 2019. Including our course, the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.9 LPA. TCS has been the mass recruiter for the past few years. But this year ITC also recruited almost 60 students, and Hitachi has recruited a total of 6 students from this region, and 3 students of AOT managed to get recruited there....

Review of AOT - Academy of Technology.

Placements: From ECE, almost 75% to 80% of the students got placed, but from ME, only 40% to 505 of the students got placed. For years, companies like TCS and Infosys have been the major recruiters for our college. However, in the previous year, along with them, Amazon India and Cognizant also recruited students from here. The minimum criteria to attend interviews is 6.75 CGPA.

Not completely satisfied with the teaching quality, Average placement package.

Placements: Though the job offers may look like more than 100% that doesn't mean everyone has got the job. Many students have got more than one job offers that's the reason behind that particular state. The highest salary is around 4.8 LPA and average is around 3.4 LPA. Top recruiters are ADP, TCS, WIPRO etc. Junior developer, R&D are the roles that are offered.

My college my dream my AOT.

Placements: Our college holds rank 3 among all the private colleges in West Bengal. In my college mostly IT sectors recruit but some CORE sectors also recruit students. For the last 5-6 years the percentage of placement is near about 85-90. So many big companies came to recruit in our college. Our mass recruiter is TCS.

Overall, the college is good in academics and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, and its full record is available on the college website. Moreover, every stream has different placement percentage like for CSE, IT and ECE departments have a placement record of more than 100 % of placements as an eligible student gets more than one job offer. Previous year the highest salary package was bagged by an ECE student who got placed in Byju's with the package of 9 lacs per annum. The average package offered is approximately 3 LPA. The college is good, and I am satisfied with it.

Placements: Nearly 500 students were placed this year. Placements are not bad. The main recruiter is TCS. Most of the companies that visit the campus are IT companies like SAP, Persistent etc. Some core companies like Fortune, Ambuja and Johnson Control also visit. If the placements were any worse, I would surely recommend you not to take admission here.

Placements: I heard from my seniors that the placements in the college are pretty good. TCS is the mass recruiter for years. But the sad news is companies like Amazon and Tech Mahindra used to visit the campus until the last year. Many foreign companies also recruit students from our college. Members of the placement cell seem to be loyal.

Placements were good in the year 2017.

Placements: Placements of this college were good, but of a very low-grade level, i.e., very low packages were offered to students by companies. The college tries its best to place the students, and for this, they would generally organise seminars and projects from different companies for maximum chances of selection.

Placements: The placements for 2015 batch was more than satisfactory. Around 70-80% of the students got placed with quite appreciable offers. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Trianz, Innofied etc., came to our college and offered good packages. Our placement cell was very active & provided us with good exposure.
