AIEED 2025: Registration OPEN, Exam (Jan 5-12), Syllabus, Pattern, Question Papers, Admission Process

Arch College of Design and Business conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) to offer admissions to its undergraduate as well as postgraduate design programs. AIEED screenings is for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Design courses. AIEED was launched in the year 2010 and since then ARCH conducts it every year as a process to select students for the various courses at the college. 2011 saw the conversion of AIEED into an online screening. This made it easily accessible to interested students who could participate in the Screening from anywhere in the world. 

Arch College of Design and Business entrance exam is designed in such a way to test the “aesthetic sense, creativity & design sensitivity of students seeking fulfilling careers in the various fields of design. It also tests the logical reasoning & problem-solving aptitude of the student”, informs the official website.

Here are some key highlights of the AIEED 2025 exam

Arch College of Design conducted an internship placement drive at its campus. More than 10 companies participated in the “Campus to Company” internship drive which included the Jaipur Centre of Culture and Arts (JCCA), Fraxus 3D, Aanchal Jewels, and KA Pre School.

More than 60 students were interviewed for internships. Out of these, 20 students were selected.

The internships are intended to help the students understand the work culture of the industry and help them in their professional growth. Students can use the opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic realm of professional practice, which will offer them first-hand insights into industry workflows and help them foster invaluable skill development.

The internships also seek to offer a transformative experience, equipping students with the requisite skills, knowledge, and networks to excel in their chosen fields. 

According to the institute, the objective of the internships is to not only provide professional knowledge and skills to the students but also teach them capable leadership skills to bring about a positive change in society.

ARCH College of Design & Business is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan (UOR). ARCH is also a PEARSON learning centre; it is accredited to deliver BTEC Level 5 HND qualifications in Art & Design, which allows its students to progress to a Level 6 Top-Up degree in the UK. ARCH is also affiliated with Rajasthan Skills University (RISU).

No entrance exam is conducted for the following BBA courses

• BBA in Design & Entrepreneurship
• BBA in Digital Marketing
• BBA in Event Management
• BBA in Fashion Business

Admission to design courses at ARCH College of Design & Business is through the AIEED entrance exam. The allotment of seats is based on the merit rank of the candidate in the AIEED entrance exam.

The step-wise AIEED admission process is mentioned below.

Step 1: Fill AIEED Application Form

The AIEED application form has to be filled out online. To apply, the candidate has to go to the official admission portal of the ARCH Academy of Design. The application fee can also be paid online via Internet banking/ debit card/ credit card. 

Application Procedure for Foreign/NRI Candidates

NRI or Foreign candidates applying for admission at ARCH academy need to submit the below-mentioned documents along with their AIEED application form:

• Attested copy of the relevant pages of the passport.        
• Equivalence certificate from the concerned Embassy acknowledging & affirming the educational qualifications of the candidate.        
• Attested copy of proof of status of NRI/Foreign national.

Application Fee: Aspirants need to issue a Demand Draft of USD 75 in favor of ARCH Educational Society, Jaipur at Plot No 9, Govind Marg, Malviya Nagar Institutional Area, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur-302021.

Step 2: Download AIEED Admit Card

To download their admit cards for the AIEED exam, the candidate will have to visit the official website of the college. Admit cards are available for download 7 days before the online/offline exam (as opted for by the aspirant). Apart from this, candidates are also sent a link containing their AIEED 2023 admit card on their registered mobile numbers.

Step 3: Give AIEED Exam

AIEED is conducted in two phases – Series 1 and Series 2. Aspirants need to note that the Series 2 entrance test is conducted only if seats are available for admission. Candidates will have to give AIEED exam as an online test. Candidates will be given three slots from which they can select the slot in which they want to appear for the AIEED exam. The typical exam slots are mentioned below:

Option 1: 10 am to 1 pm

Option 2: 2 pm to 5 pm

Option 3: 6 pm to 9 pm

Apart from this, while giving the online AIEED exam candidates need to ensure that the below-mentioned things/aspects are in place:

Step 4: Appear for Interview & Portfolio Round

This stage of AIEED admission process requires shortlisted candidates to appear for an interview and portfolio round. In this round aspirants need to perform the below-mentioned tasks:

The result for AIEED exam will be declared on the official exam website of ARCH Academy of Design. Candidates will be selected for admission based on their performance in:

• Previous educational field        
• AIEED exam result  
• Interview+Portfolio

The application form for AIEED 2025 opened on October 15, 2025. The application has to be filled out online.

The candidate needs to follow these steps to apply for AIEED 2025:

1. Click on the application form link
2. A registration form will open
3. Get registered by entering your details like name, email ID and phone number
4. Next, log in and fill in personal, academic, and contact details
5. Upload documents in the given specification
6. Submit the application form.

AIEED 2025 admit card

Once the application process is over, you can take note of the application number.

The admit card for the AIEED 2025 will be released soon after the application process is over. The admit card will be released online and can be downloaded by entering one's candidate credentials. On the day of the exam, the candidate needs to bring with them the admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

The admit card will carry details like the name of the candidate, roll number, exam time and date, exam centre name and address, reporting time, and exam-day guidelines.

The ARCH College of Design & Business postulates the eligibility criteria for the AIEED 2025 exam. The candidate needs to meet the eligibility criteria of the program seeking admission to, or else he or she will not be considered for admission. 

AIEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs offered by the college.

If the candidate uses incorrect and misleading data when filling out the application form, they might be disqualified. Note that all information will be verified at the time of counseling and seat allotment.

UG programs (4-year duration)

AIEED 2024 eligibility criteria for UG programs are as mentioned below:

• Aspirants who have appeared for/cleared their Class 10+2 from CBSE/ ICSE/ IB/ State Board/ NIOS or equivalent board as per UGC guidelines are eligible for admissions.
• Students appearing for their Class 10+1 exam were also eligible to apply. Such candidates will be eligible for direct admission in the academic session commencing in 2024 provided they clear the interaction and PoA (Portfolio of Abilities) stage.

Age Limit

“As per Pearson-Edexcel norms, all students 16 years and above are eligible for the International Undergraduate level course and can, therefore, also apply. These aspirants have the option of completing their studies with a ‘Top Up’ degree in 1 year from any of the Pearson Edexcel listed Universities around the world after having finished the Pearson Edexcel BTEC embedded in the 4-year program at ARCH.”

PG programs (2-year duration)

Candidates who possess a graduation degree or are currently pursuing graduation in any discipline can apply for programs offered at ARCH Academy provided they are pursuing their graduation degree from a recognized university.

It is typically recommended that the candidate start their exam preparation early.

Typically, one would be easily able to cover the AIEED syllabus 2025 in six months or so. If the candidate has strong fundamentals, then one can complete the syllabus in even less time.

To prepare for the exam and complete the syllabus, one needs to have a proper study plan in place and first complete the easy topics, and then tackle the difficult ones.
