College that will fulfil your dream.
Placements: Here, we will first pursue our MBBS, then we are appointed as medical officers in the field for sure, and then we serve the nation in our post. This is a central government-funded job, and we receive a package similar to that of a doctor, along with some allowances according to the Armed Forces.
Infrastructure: The college is located in the heart of Pune and is surrounded by lush greenery. It spans an area of around 120 acres and is well-built. There are sports grounds for multiple sports, along with separate boys' and girls' hostels accommodating around 750 students.
Faculty: The full course is divided into 9 semesters, and at the end of each semester, there is a term-end exam which helps the students prepare for their university exams. Faculty members are the best in their fields and very helpful and approachable for any kind of query.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be a doctor in the Armed Forces, and this is the only way to achieve that. The best thing about my course is that it helps in my growth both personally and professionally. There are multiple extracurricular activities, both academically and culturally.

Our college has excellent extracurricular activities.
Placements: In our college, we had an internship for one year and the stipend was Rs.65,000 per month, which is probably the highest in India. Once you complete your studies, you will have to serve as a medical officer for the next 4 years in any defense hospital in India.
Infrastructure: Almost all sports were played. We had a huge ground for such sports. Labs were the best in the country and were approved by the government of India. All tests required for any diagnosis were done in our labs.
Faculty: The MBBS course is a vast course consisting of 14 huge subjects that expanded over four and a half years. It trains you to be a good doctor and how to behave, interact with, and treat patients. The structure of the exams is simple and consists of six-month semesters. There are university exams at the end of each year.
Other: Extracurricular activities are a part of MBBS. We had a lot of clubs and societies to nurture us in areas other than academics.

The best medical college in India. It doesn't keep you bound to the curriculum.
Placements: The cadets are offered placements in the all three armed forces wing such as air force, navy and military force as a medical officer with a rank similar to that of NDA cadets. They have an option to choose between SSC (short service commission) and PC (permanent commission) and also subject to the seat availability, or you can pay out by paying 28 Lacs, which is the bond-money as of the year, 2016.
Infrastructure: The college has world-class infrastructure ranging from the modern art to colonial days building. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and they have the state of the art teaching infrastructure. The college has a world-class library, and there is an exposure to the plethora of patients. Hostel rooms are way better than the hostels in other institutes. Students get single occupancy rooms after the 1st year.
Faculty: The faculty of AFMC are highly qualified and dedicated. They have a unique style of teaching and make the topic interesting. They divide the students into small groups when they teach us teaching at clinics and practicals which helps them to deliver good knowledge. Apart from theory lectures, you are free to choose the way in which you want you to learn.
Other: The college hosts a variety of fests for the students of PG and UG. The college is located in the heart of Pune City, and there are plenty of places to visit nearby. Extracurricular activities are given here due importance, and the students of our college have won in the events conducted in almost all fests.
