I had a very good experience at this college.

Placements: There was not any defined percentage of students who get placed because there is no dedicated drive for placement for economics students. Two companies, like ICICI Prudential and HDFC Bank, visit our college to hire students for a sale role. The salary package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA. Many students do an internship during college days, but none of them was redirected by colleges.

Our college is very good with excellent faculty, good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Admission in M.Sc course is very good here, and about 70-80% of the students get placement. Students get admissions in Indian Institute of Technologies, NITs and other renowned universities in India. About 50-60% of the students got an internship in the universities.

Faculty members are excellent, and different faculty makes studies simple and easy.

Placements: Students who score above 92% in boards exam get placement here. The lowest percentage of getting a chance is not below 88%.

I had an amazing experience here.

Placements: Asutosh College doesn't provide any placements for students, but placement authorities try to invite companies for placements. The average salary package offered in our course was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college are ICICI Bank, AXIS Bank and few insurance companies.

I am satisfied with the faculty members. It is one of the best colleges to study economics subject.

Placements: The placement structure is very poor. Only a handful of students get placed after graduation. Very few companies visit our college for placements. Companies like TCS is well-known to recruit students from our college. The roles offered in our course is mainly of an analyst.

Our college has nice faculty members, good location and comfortable rules.

Placements: Very few students from our course got placed. The salary ranging from Rs. 10,000 to 20,000 to 30,000 per month was offered for jobs. Internships were also rarely available. ICSE visited our college for recruitment. Most of the students opt for MBA or post-graduation after graduating in Economics (Hons).

It is a good college for pursuing BBA.

Placements: Students get opportunities to participate in various workshops which helps to build knowledgeable. At the end of the course, many companies visit the campus on specified dates for campus interviews. Students of all the departments get an opportunity to participate and also get a chance to secure a good job by going through the interview and selection process.

Our college has very good faculty members.

Placements: Our college has very good placement team members. Our college puts lots of efforts to provide placements and internships for students. Almost all the students get placed during the placement process every time. All the students got internships from our college in very good companies.

Overall, we like our college.

Placements: I am from 2015 passed out batch. Our college provides many chances to get jobs. About 80% of the students in our course are very sincere, and they got placed in good companies. We are thankful to our teachers. We like our college and teachers.

I am not satisfied with college.

Placements: I would suggest others not to take admission in any college under the University of Calcutta. The college does not provide placements, placement cell, companies visits, industrial training, and there is also no support for internships. The college is for just for a name, and nothing is interesting. You will not get any job, and I am not happy with this college.

Absolutely satisfied, one of the best faculty for economics in Kolkata.

Placements: Placement is average here, some students are placed. But it has a separate career counselling and training programme which is available in very few colleges. This programme is very helpful for students as it helps them to find a job. It has a placement cell as well.

I am absolutely happy because of really good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Since I am pursuing a degree course, none of the students bothers to attend the interviews. However, companies like TCS, Teleperformance and many more visit for recruitment. Students are not interested in opting for placements as they had different plans. Many students pursue their dreams and indulge in further studies.

Review of our college and course. The faculty was good but dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: None of the students from our batch got placed. We didn't get any placements because there was no placement drive arranged for us. Top recruiters included Reliance, Bata, Coco-Cola from our previous batch. Almost everyone from our batch got internships and in good companies like Tata Nexa, Nestle, Bata.

Asutosh was one of the best college in South Kolkata. I had learned so many things from here.

Placements: We don't receive any type of placement from here. Calcutta University don't provide any type of placement schedule from here. I think CU must think about this type of placement schedule. So that graduate student can get a good job. If they give us this type of benefits then we all can get a good job after graduation and it can reduce unemployment. There are so many students who can't afford higher studies.

Some top-rated companies, radio stations and news Xhani visit our campus for placements. Students recruited as interns in news channels and radio stations. It is a good college for students. The infrastructure of our college is good.

Placements: Almost 20 to 30% of the students got placed. The salary package offered ranges between 1.3 LPA-3 LPA. Wipro, TCS, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Role of the back office clerk was offered to students. There are fewer opportunities for students to get a technical job as our course is non-technical. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. Around 30 to 40% of the students got an internship.

It is a college which moulds students into a mature and socially active person.

Placements: Placements will not be there for our course. It is mainly a general degree college, so it is very unexpected to have placements. But because of its location advantage students, after doing Zoology Hons generally, go for master degree or prepare for a government job. Now most of them are doing the job in academics, banks or other government sectors.

I am satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: We were not placed from Asutosh College. Once Wipro visited our campus for the voice process, and few people got selected. However, there were no other placements for the students, which was quite disheartening and sad from the students' point of view. Hope the faculty improves placements.

Absolutely unsatisfactory campus life and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are very minimal in the college. There are almost no placements. There is no committed placement committee or placement cell. Only few students from the Science streams get placed by the placement drive of the college that too at very minimal packages.
