Asutosh College is very student-friendly.

Placements: The average percentage of students placed in our course is low. There is no package offered in our course. No companies are coming for our course. There is no internship from our course. We just get the graduation degree from this course. No other extra facilities are there.

BAD FACILITIES AFTER DRAINING OUT OUR MONEY.

Placements: There are no placements that the college provides for students, but you have to be inclusive in all activities to achieve them. Most of the placements require 2 to 3 years of experience in a specific field; the rest are B.Tech or M.Sc. based. The highest package last year that the college provided was 7 LPA, but we do get packages like 12-14 LPA. As I said, you need experience for at least 2 years to apply for them. With the new 4-year quota for B.Sc., everyone has to do an internship to apply f...

Its a really average coll.

Placements: When it comes to higher education, the image of college life often conjures vision of prestigious campuses, cutting-edge research, and unparalleled opportunities. Yet, not every institution can claims such accolades. Many students, myself included, find themselves attending what can best be described as an average college. While this label might carry a negative connotation, it's important to explore what it means to attend an average college, recognizing both the challenges and the opportunitie...

This college needs a lot of improvement in its infrastructure and placement process.

Placements: Asutosh college does not have a proper placement cell. There is a placement team who sometimes organizes a few job fair, and a handful of students manage to get placement offers. But, the packages are not that great. The average package was 2 LPA while the highest package was 3.5 LPA.

Review of Asutosh College.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is not that developed yet. However, recently some companies have started visiting our campus for recruitment. The highest salary package offered in our course was 7 LPA, whereas the average package offered was 3 LPA.

The curriculum and faculty is great, but the infrastructure and placement cell needs improvement.

Placements: Asutosh College does not have an independent placement cell. However, sometimes the college organizes a few job fests or fairs, in which a few companies visit and hire a handful of candidates. But you need to have a good CGPA. You can expect a salary between 2 to 4 LPA.

Good faculty but very bad placement procedure.

Placements: Our college lacks a proper placement cell and procedure. Sometimes, a few job fairs are organized by our college, but only a few of our students are able to get any placement offer from there. The highest salary you can expect is 2 to 2.5 LPA. It is better to apply for off-campus jobs.

I would like to see better management and infrastructure in the future.

Placements: There is no structured process of campusing organised by the college. However companies such as L&T have been seen to contact the respective departments of the college, handpick the best performers and give them a shot at the opportunities currently available in their company. Internships opportunities provided by the college are unheard of. Less than 10% students are placed through campusing.

It is a good college to learn but doesn't provide placements.

Placements: Placements are not provided in our college under Calcutta University. The placement cell in our college provides few placements to students. Many students go for higher studies.

Satisfied because of faculty, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: This course is in demand nowadays and it helps to develop multiple skills during these 3 years which prevents one from lagging behind in the upcoming genre of industry. In-campus placements are not there in our college but due to this course, off-campus placements can be cracked easily.

Review of Asutosh College.

Placements: None of the students was placed from our course. Salary packages were not offered in our course. None of the students got internships from our course. Placements or internships are not included in our course, and thus there are no recruiting companies.

Review of Asutosh College.

Placements: The percentage is very low because only the merit students were selected for placements, that is 35%. The packages offered were around 5 to 3 Lacs per annum. Most of the students got internships from various institutions. There were no recruiting companies for graduates, only for post-graduates.

I had both good and bad experience here.

Placements: There are no placements for undergraduate students here, so there are no roles and internships. Any student who wishes to do an internship or do a job can try for the same through off-campus placements. But it is difficult to expect the jobs and internships through on-campus placements.

Campus life is good, and the chances of growth are high.

Placements: As a B.Sc. student, the college offers us a variety of facilities. Many top recruiting companies visit the campus to recruit many students.

Absolutely unsatisfactory campus life and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are very minimal in the college. There are almost no placements. There is no committed placement committee or placement cell. Only few students from the Science streams get placed by the placement drive of the college that too at very minimal packages.

Good for B.Sc. and B.Com. Don't expect job placements. Campus and social life is way better.

Placements: Asutosh College doesn't provide any kind of in campus placements. But it does have placement cells where one can get advice on placements. No company or organisation visit this college for requirements. No system of internship is provided by the college, one has to find their own internships. There are no field trips or industry trips in this subject of Microbiology. Other subjects like Botany and Geography have these facilities.

It is a decent general science college.

Placements: Don't expect placement support from the college. This a degree course college so there is no dedicated placement teams to help you with your placements like in the case of engineering colleges. So would not recommend anyone to join this college if placements are the primary concern for them.

Mediocre but well maintained college.

Placements: This college does not provide placements as such. Though some company comes every year, I haven't seen or heard anyone getting any placement anywhere. So it can be said that it gives 0% placement. It just provides basic graduation courses. But not any assurance of placements.

It is good for knowledge, but not for placements. Infrastructure and facilities are average.

Placements: It's just a self-financed course, so, nothing extra, like other subjects of honours. It is a normal honours subject, and placements are not available. If you are ready to gain lots of knowledge and increase your ability, then it's good enough not for the job. If you get a job, that's also not satisfying you.

The placement record is bad. This college is not recommendable.

Placements: The placement record of the college is very poor. The students have to get placements on their own as the college does not provide placement drives for the students. As it is a government college, not many companies are interested in selecting the students. No internships are offered to the students. Even, the package provided to the placed students is not good. The average salary offered to the students was Rs. 8,000 per month.
