All the latest updates regarding ISDI Mumbai admissions are as follows:
- CMAT 2025 registrations are open for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses; the last date to apply is Dec 13, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam will be held on Jan 25, 2025.
- ATMA 2025 Dec session registrations are open for admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM courses; the last date is Dec 9, 2024. The ATMA 2025 exam for the Dec session will be held on Dec 22, 2024.
- The MAT 2024 registration process for the December session is ongoing for PBT and CBT Phase 2 exams; the last dates are Dec 7 and Dec 15, 2024, respectively. Further, MAT 2024 CBT Phase 1, PBT, and CBT Phase 2 exams will be scheduled on Dec 7, Dec 14, and Dec 22, 2024, respectively.
- NMAT 2024 rescheduling window is open for admission to MBA/PGDM courses for the academic session 2025-27, and the last date is Dec 17, 2024. Further, NMAT 2024 exam window is also open and the last date is Dec 20, 2024.

Q: Are admissions at ISDI - School of Design and Innovation entrance-based or merit-based?
ISDI admission is based on merit and an entrance exam called the ISDI Challenge. The ISDI Challenge consists of three parts:
- Portfolio or Design Project
- Design Aptitude Test (DAT)
- Online Interview
Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in these three components. The weightages are:
- Portfolio/Design Project - 40%
- DAT - 30%
- Interview - 30%
Merit-based Admission
For undergraduate programs, admission is primarily based on merit in the qualifying exam (Class 12). Candidates with higher marks in Class 12 have a higher chance of admission.
Candidates first need to fulfill the eligibility criteria:
- Pass Class 12 from a recognised board.
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Class 12.
Eligible candidates are then called for the ISDI Challenge. After clearing the ISDI Challenge, admission is granted based on merit.
Q: What is the seat intake for B.Des at ISDI - School of Design and Innovation?
ISDI - School of Design and Innovation offers a 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme with specializations in Communication Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Product Design, etc.
The Seat intake for B.Des at ISDI is approximately 600.
The Total tuition fees for the 4- year B.Des programme is? 24.3L. Theminimum eligiblity for B.Des admission is passing the 10+2 examination from a recognised board.
Admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination and an aptitude test conducted by ISDI. ISDI offers specialised PG programs in Design and Innovation and fashion Business Management. The seat intake for PG programs is 30 seats.

Q: What is the selection process for B.Des and what is the minimum DAT percentile required?
ISDI School of Design and Innovation does not accept NID DAT scores for admission to B.Des programs. ISDI has its own admission process called ISDI Challenge. Candidates are admitted to ISDI based on their performance in the ISDI Challenge, which consists of three stages:
- Portfolio upload or Design Project (100 marks, 40% weightage)
- Online Design Aptitude Test (DAT) (100 marks, 40% weightage)
- Online Interview (100 marks, 20% weightage)
There is no minimum percentile or cutoff required in NID DAT to apply for B.Des programs at ISDI. Candidates are shortlisted for admission based on their combined performance in the three stages of the ISDI Challenge.Shortlisted candidates have to appear for an online interview where they have to present and discuss their portfolio and design thinking process.
