Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2027
3.2

A campus-friendly college.
Placements: The total strength of our batch is 72. Initially, it was 80, but then 4 of them took a break from the college, and some failed and are now in junior batches. Placement options are very limited here. We have to find our own placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. We have 24-hour Wi-Fi, which is strong enough. Wi-Fi modems are placed at regular distances to ensure continuity. Classrooms are huge and open. It is very comfortable to sit in our classroom and work, and we have a very good library with lots of architectural books to refer to.
Faculty: Teachers are very young and cheerful. They are always on campus and very helpful. We can approach them at any time of the day; they are always there to reach out to. The curriculum is very creative and challenging. It prepares us to face the real architectural world.

Balanced college experience with supportive faculty, strong placements.
Placements: Avani college has been an amazing journey for me. Graduation in 2026 from the batch of 2021, I have seen how avani helps students excel in their careers. With their talents, many of our seniors have landed jobs in different parts of the world, ranging from small to big companies. Many avani graduates are working as architects in different parts of world. Graduates are well prepared for the field with salaries ranging from 10,000 - 1.5 Lacs, sometimes even more.
Infrastructure: The facilities include a well-equipped computer lab, Wi-Fi access in both college and hostel areas, studios with individual tables and a pleasant balcony view, as well as a library and canteen. In the hostel we have comfortable rooms for groups of 2 or 4 students, along with the washrooms and laundry facilities at each floor. The mess and canteen offers a variety of menu options and there is a small ground for sports activities.
Faculty: The faculty members in college were indeed helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They demonstrated a strong commitment to their students success and provided valuable guidance throughout the course. The teaching quality was generally high with a focus on practical applications and real world scenarios which helped prepare students for their future careers. The course curriculum included a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that were directly applicable to the field, ensuring that graduates were well prepared to enter the work field upon completion of their studies. The difficult of semester exams varied depending on the subject, but overall they were enough to assess student's understanding and skills adequate.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for the arts and creativity. The best things about my course are the opportunities for exploration, artistic expression, and talent development. I appreciate the case study trips and the focus on critical thinking skills which enriched the learning experience. However I wish the workload and work pressure could be reduced to allow for more balance and creativity. Despite the college provides some scholarships both from the institution and government related, which supports students financially. The campus ambience is wonderful with nature's presence all around and there are numerous events and exhibitions that enhance the overall experience. Additional the college offers a variety of extra circular activities including arts, sports and other interests, fostering a vibrant campus community.

Experience beautiful view everyday.
Placements: Avani institute of design excels in academics. It is known across Kerala for it's academics and ranking. Over 80% of students got internships in top companies in India and outside India also. Students pass out as certified architects and are placed in top architectural firms according to their skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really beautiful as it is close to nature and the building materials give prominence to the college. Wi-Fi is available all around the college everytime. Classrooms are huge enough to work. Labs aren't used much by the students. As the students have their own laptops. The food available in hostel mess is south indian food (idli, puttu, price, chapati, etc., ). Academics have more value than sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are really qualified and knowledgeable in their teaching. They are available everytime if help is needed. The curriculum is relevant. And the topics are taught according to the curriculum. There are hands on activities to help the students learn more about the topics which are being taught. The semester exams are moderate. It varies according to the subjects. There are about 75% pass rate.
Other: Architecture is fun compared to other courses. It's mostly hands on works and digital works. But sometimes it's really stressful. I wish there were more fests and activities conducted by the college.

The college as such is prestigious with its contacts and connections. But minimal college life .
Placements: No placements are provided by the college however with good portfolio we can get into good firms, this is the information students who have passed out from here gave. Majority of the people in college would have a lot of connections so based on our work we could get into a good firm.
Infrastructure: There is a lot of level difference in the college thus a lot of stars yet no elevator, the hostel is quite convenient but the mess food is not appreciable a lot of students order from outside on the regular but facilitywise its quite good and clean.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally okay and differ from person to person, external exams are not too bad and can be passed with a bit of effort internal marks on the other hand is highly dependent on the teachers and we could fails in that easily. Classes do tend to be based on the teachers in general there is very less attention span during class hours and students depend on pdf for the exams but that is half the students problem.
Other: Campus is gorgeous but campus life is made by the students the college does not provide any kind of extracurricular activities students have to bring it forward, with the strength of the entire campus being around 500 people the campus life would be good if we make it so, it could get boring based on our preference .
