Review of Avvaiyar Government College For Women.
Placements: Avvaiyar College for Women is a government college. They don't provide placements at our college. Students who are passing out of college are placed in good companies. Some serve as politicians, and some are in higher positions.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not provided at our college. The quality of the food available in the canteen is good. They focus on sports as well.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult at our college. The pass percentage is more than 70%.
Other: Initially, I was interested in commerce and accounting so I chose B.Com.

Placements: There are approximately 300 students in our course. There is no average package offered in our course. But many students were placed in various good companies and earned good salaries.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-fi is provided by the college itself to the students. Labs, classrooms and libraries are well maintained. The canteen food is hygienic and tasty. Medical facilities are available in the college itself. Our college focuses mainly on sports and games that the students are interested in.
Faculty: The lecturers are knowledgeable and qualified. The teaching quality is good so it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are often tough in our college. Our college comes under Pondicherry University. The average passing percentage is more than 80%. .
Other: I was interested in commerce, that's why I chose this department. Various scholarships were provided by the college.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements or salary packages because it's a government college for women. Many students from our college are placed in better places and recruited by better companies. Some of them became politicians too.

It's a government college for women, no money needed to achieve your studies and goals.
Placements: There are approximately 2500 students under both Science and art departments.
Until now from the beginning no placements or recruitment were done in our college, maybe it's a government college.
But the coaching is definitely good. It'll be better if they provide campus interview and placements in college itself.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi provided by college itself. Labs, classrooms and library are neat and good as well as maintained in a good way. Canteen foods are done in a very hygienic way and good in taste. Our college gives more attention to the girls who are focused on sports and help them achieve their goal.
In this way they support sports as wells as games.
Faculty: Teaching quality is absolutely good and each teacher is qualified and knowledgeable.
The course curriculum is relevant as the students could get placed once they pass out.
The semester exams are based under Pondicherry University, it's bit difficult but easy. And the pass percentage is more than 80%.
Other: I chose B.Com as I was interested in commerce.
There's nothing to improve in my course as there is two B.Com courses i. e. B.Com (general) and B.Com (corporate secretaries).
