An awesome experience with BJB autonomous college.

Placements: It is a good college with coordinative staff. All the teachers are good, even some teachers are giving you free tuition. The principals are strict, and candidates are good. One of the best colleges of Odisha. I thank the government for this college. Such a huge response from candidates.

Overall, satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements were good. The students with very good performance across the semesters were sent for placements. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys and other companies based on IT sector comes every year. It totally depends on the student, and his/her performance.

Good placement and future prospective.

Placements: The higher percentage with above than 80% marks securing students get the admission here. There is also a quota for the physically disabled and the minor societies. Many companies from Odisha and outside Odisha also came here for the internship. For the student's betterment, it is one of the best colleges in Odisha.

Average and still needs improvement in every sector.

Placements: There are off-campus placements coming to the college. I also got into Capgemini through off-campus. In M.Sc. period, some on-campus drives are also coming to the college, but mostly you can say that you will be placed through the off-campus only. The professors share the link of the off-campus so that you will get all the information from the college itself.

It is a good college, it has good faculty members, clean surroundings, but, can do a lot better.

Placements: The placement opportunities at BJB are meagre. Seldom do they come. And, when they do, it's mostly by local companies. In our batch, there were no placements. In our senior batch, some companies came. And, I think hardly 10 students got placed or less. Sorry to say, but there's no placement cell in our college. At least, not until the year I was there. As of now, I don't have proper information regarding the same.

The college has the good infrastructure and satisfied placement.

Placements: The placement is slightly over-rated in this college. Still, the HR department and the placement cell sends the resume of the students to placement agency and websites like naukri.com, job sansar. The good number of students working as short movie makers, YouTubers and in some local news channels like Naxtra, News 24.7. Nearly, 40% of the students got placed. The salary and stipend is around 3-4 LPM.

Somehow dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: The previous year, there was a low placement review. No detailed campus selection was in my view. The placement cell here isn't much efficient. Overall, the college is a kind of inactive due to the moron lectures and administration, but still, they do as much as they can. Absolutely poor placements of our department can be found with even no campus selection maybe. The industry visit will be null with no internship programs offered.

Satisfied because of the faculty members.

Placements: The college has a good scope of placements. Different companies visit to get the best students from here. The teachers are also very cooperative and motivate students and advice them which field they should choose. TCS, Wipro, and some telecom companies visit for placements.

There is really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement of BJB Autonomous is quite okay. If you have done excellent on the exams, then there is an assurance of getting a very good placement. Various companies like TCS and from banking sectors as well as from government sectors also visit for placements.

Good college, but there is always scope for improvement.

Placements: The placements are not much, but still, some companies came for B.Sc, B.Com, and B.A Hons students. There are not satisfactory placements. The companies like TCS, Mahindra, and much more come and take talents of our college, but still, B.Com and B.A. don't get ample opportunities so that should be taken into consideration.

The college one should select for.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college which deals with the companies coming for the candidates. Generally, for the art students, there are not many provisions except BPOs. Whereas for the science and commerce students there are companies like TCS, etc., visit for the placement. The highest salary goes around Rs. 18,000 per month, and the lowest offered is Rs. 7,000 per month. There is no provision of internship in undergraduate level in my college.

I was extremely satisfied by studying in this college.

Placements: Around, 6-7 companies offer placements in the campus, and around 5% of the students of the college and 25% of the participating students got placed. The lowest average starting salary offered was around Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month, and the highest was around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month. The companies visiting the campus were TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Mahindra and a few more. Roles like the customer service, call centre job and some other jobs were provided. It is not just good, but it is one of the best colleges in Odisha.

Placements: You get placements according to your own merit. The fame of the college is due to the quality of students, so it also provides some additional help. Many students of my batch and previous batch got good placements. In the campus, the placement is absent. But as compared to other colleges its one of the best.

Good curriculum and good college life.

Placements: As per seeing the senior batches, I know that the students having a good career percentage are eligible for the placements. They should also score well in the semesters. After some rounds of test and interview, the students who pass all the rounds are given the required placements.

BJB Autonomous College is a very good college.

Placements: The percentage of students placed is 99%. Many companies visit here, and many students are placed. Other students opt for post graduation in various universities. Some students study B.Ed, MBA, journalism, etc. here. My college is the best for placements. All the students here are placed.

A respected college but they need to recruit lecturers for the vacant posts

Placements: Some 10-14 companies came. They took some of us. The placement is kind of good in comparison to other government colleges. They were offering near about 14-18k per month. Some big companies like TCS came. There was a recruitment panel in our college.

The experience was average. Faculty were good but placement in 2015 was not up to the mark.

Placements: The placements offered were average. Many companies visited the campus but with less package. TCS, Infosys, Shoppers stop, Wipro, L&T and some companies visited the campus. They were providing back office role, BPO, KPO and business analyst role. Minimum 20-60% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is around 2.5 lakh per annum.

Good education in bad infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. Very few companies come for the placements. Most of the companies which come for placements belong to BPO sector. Other roles which are offered are a business analyst and business development officer. About 10% to 20% of the students get placed. There is no defined placement week for the placement process. The companies come for placements randomly. Some of the notable companies which come for placements are TCS, Wipro and Accenture. The average package off...

One of the best government colleges in Odisha.

Placements: The placements offered were good. The senior batch students almost were placed. Myself have gone for the higher education. M.Sc in IIT Chennai. Overall it's good. The salary package started from 25-30k per month and ranged up to 50 k per month. Almost 60% of the students got an internship from the college. There is no specific idea about the stipends. The annual scholarships were given, and meritorious students were rewarded.

Good placements do come, and it just depends on the student.

Placements: The lowest salaries generally offered for B.Com students is Rs. 9,000 per month, the highest is Rs. 20,000. The companies mostly prefer B.Com honours, then comes B.Com with management honours. These jobs are mostly coming to the college. The placements are done well in our college, and many renowned companies are coming to our college, such as Infosys, Tata, and others.
