College is really good in terms of education, and you'll even find lovable and entertaining friends.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements, and internships are based on our own hard work and dedication. The college doesn't take responsibility for providing internships. Even though it's a government college, placements and internships are totally up to the students. If we want to apply for internships, the teachers will help us find good opportunities, but the college itself isn't responsible for that.

The dark truth of BJB college.

Placements: This college provides no placements to the students so do not come here with any expectations of getting placed. The placement scenario is the worst in this college and internships are also not provided in this college. Students suffer a lot after their admissions.

No placements. Teaching quality is poor and poor infrastructure and hygiene.

Placements: No students were placed in my course. There is no placement provided by the college. No students got internship from my course in any company. No packages were offered in my course. No top roles offered in my course. No recruiting company for my course.

Dissatisfied with less resources and also, the way of teaching is traditional.

Placements: The students placed in my course are very less. The highest package is about 4 -5 LPA and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are The Everest, Ruchi, etc. Maximum number students find the internships themselves and few of them get through the campus itself.

It is a good college for getting only a degree.

Placements: It is a government college. Unlike private colleges, there are no internships nor placements provided by the college. Only a few companies like Tata, ICICI, etc., come for call centre jobs, which I think is not a job for a graduate student.

Only degree no knowledge. If you are looking for placement then this is not the college.

Placements: In terms of placement only a few BPO companies come which are not worth sitting for. If you are looking for placement then this is not the college. The college doesn't make any effort to bring companies nor does it make any effort to bring internship.

It is a good college. I am satisfied.

Placements: Placements are not attractive at B.J.B Autonomous College. As they take a minimal amount of admission fee, they don't provide good placements. Few companies will hardly visit at B.J.B Autonomous College and mostly they offer call centre job.

Overall, it is an average college.

Placements: As I am a student of statistics (Hons), I found that there are no placements for B.Sc. statistics students until now. Students prefer to go for PG courses. A few years ago, Infosys sent a recruitment notice for the students of computer science, physics, mathematics and statistics (Hons).

Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar College, Bhubaneswar is a good college to complete your degree.

Placements: I'm from the statistics honours course, and no company has visited the campus for our placements. Internships were also not available for my seniors and my batch. Maybe, only the statistics honours course has this issue. Although we have done field projects in which we get the experience of being a real statistical worker.

One of the top government colleges in Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Despite being one of the top government colleges in Bhubaneswar, the placement scenario isn't that great. Many renowned companies like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc., visit the campus for placements, but they offer BPO roles with very less salary packages.

The organisation should be less lenient.

Placements: Mostly, off-campus placement drives are held. There are very few on-campus placement drives in the college. The placements aren't tough to crack if you have certain qualifications for it, but the problem lies with the organisation team of placements. There's no fixed schedule because of which, going to placement feels frustrating. So, very few people go for it and, only a few of them get selected.

The college has qualified faculty. Overall, the college is average.

Placements: Around 2-3 companies visited the college for the placements of our senior batch. As of now, no company visited the college to hire the students of our batch, but we have been told about 2 companies, i.e., Karvy and Axis bank. The salary offered ranges between 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. I have no idea about the posts offered because companies are yet to come. But, frankly, I don't find the offers or the package worthy for what we are studying.

Take admission only if there is no better option.

Placements: The placements of our batch were better than our senior batch. The highest salary offered was 3.4 LPA by TCS for our batch and the seniors too. The average package was around 2.5-2.8 LPA. Nearly 50-55% of students were placed. Companies that visited our campus were Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Vedanta, Mindfire and Tata steel. There is a placement cell in our college but it is not efficient.

One of the top government colleges in Bhubaneswar. But hardly has anything great to offer.

Placements: Placement scenerio is not that great. As such, after B.Com we hardly get good job opportunities. The few companies that visit the college offer mostly BPO type jobs with very less salary. Better not to depend on college placements and purse some PG course for career growth.

Somehow dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: The previous year, there was a low placement review. No detailed campus selection was in my view. The placement cell here isn't much efficient. Overall, the college is a kind of inactive due to the moron lectures and administration, but still, they do as much as they can. Absolutely poor placements of our department can be found with even no campus selection maybe. The industry visit will be null with no internship programs offered.

BJB Autonomous College - a step towards self development.

Placements: Very few companies come here for campus recruitments at graduate level. They are mostly a few private banks and BPOs. I believe students should not go for the companies at this level. At my time, Infosys and Wipro came for the graduate level. They hardly offered 1.8 to 2.5 lakhs per annum.

Somewhere satisfied because of faculty, bad lab and classrooms. Placements are not good.

Placements: In our college, for our branch, there are no placements. But students are enrolled with some off-campus held at other colleges. Some students are also placed in TCS, TechMahindra, Capgemini and Wipro. 3-4% of the total students are placed each year. Packages are normal and slightly differ from company to company (1.80-2.20L per annum). Moreover, hey are posted as technical assistants and junior software developer. There is no internship provided by the college. You have to search internships ...

Administration should be improved. Nice college. Nice environment and lecturers are also good. But not a proper campus. The College should bring good companies for campus placement of the students. Campus facilities should be improved and extra-curricular activities should be more added to that.

Nice college Experienced lecturer. No place to eat/ canteen so be prepared for some weight loss free of cost! But one of the best college in the state with students having good career. The brand name was enough for me to take an admission. Campus life is bad to the core. One shouldn't expect much as it’s a govt.college. But scholarship is given to meritorious students and other facility is provided. Uniform is another bad thing.

Good college with less course fees. Teachers are also very helpful. Passing percentage is very high. It is situated in the heart of Bhubaneswar. It is also very nearer to the famous temple, LINGARAJ. The college is famous for its passing percentage and rank holders every year.
