Strong infrastructure and good faculty, but limited placement opportunities in IT.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Sc in Information Technology and currently I?m in my second year. The placement percentage can be 60%-90%. The highest salary package could be 5LPA-8LPA and the lowest and average package could be 3LPA-5LPA and 2LPA-5LPA. The top recruitment companies are Infosys,TCS, andWipro. Basically, 30-50% of students got internships in local IT firms. The top roles that are offered in the course are Software Developer andData Analyst.
Infrastructure: We have separate IT labs for the IT department with fast and wide Ethernet connections. It does not have hostel facilities, but the food quality of the mess and canteen is very good as they take proper measures for social hygiene. They also have medical facilities for emergency situations with proper medical staff. They also have proper equipment for sports and games as they provide sports events and competitions to encourage student participation.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well qualified and knowledgeable. Their way of teaching is also very effective. Yes, the practical and projects make students prepare for industrial demands. The semester exams are not very difficult as their teaching methods are so good that students can learn easily. The pass percentage is between 60-80%.
Other: As there is more scope in IT fields in the future and I am passionate for learning coding and programming,it has a wide range of job opportunities . It updates us with the latest technologies in the market and helps us to understand them. Cultural fests are held in college for refreshments of students, good transport services help in better connectivity for students, availability of scholarships helps to support students financially , and opportunities for sports and clubs contribute to well-rounded education.

Our college has good teachers, but it provides average placements.
Placements: There is a placement cell. They charge you Rs. 500 for this service. Once you have a unique ID, you will receive all placement notifications. Our college provides few placement opportunities. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Internships are not provided.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. A canteen, library, gym, and sports ground are available. Hostel facilities are not available. Our classrooms are good. There are different buildings for different departments like IT, CS, etc. Wi-Fi is available. Computer labs are average.
Faculty: Our teachers are supportive and helpful. Non-teaching staff members are so rude. It's an autonomous college, so they have their syllabus. They provide a question bank, but you can't fully trust it.

B.Sc. IT review at BK Birla College Kalyan.
Placements: For year 23-24, there were no placement opportunities provided by the placement cell. Students have a low placement rate for IT and CS. If not for the teaching staff, no one would have a job. The faculty members share walk-in drives and campus drives of other colleges, so students visit them and get placed .
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really nice; there are good labs and libraries that can be accessed by the students, and the classrooms have AV, smart boards and monitors, so its good and can be an aid for students as well as the faculty. No hostels are there for the students. The canteen is not the most happening place; its not bad, yet not good at all.
Faculty: The course is nice and well structured, and the subject selection was good. But for IT and CS, its not enough as new technology and tools are coming into the market and the curriculum is old so it has a gap that has to be covered. It's an autonomous college so the exams are conducted by the college. Sometimes the syllabus is complete yet they take the exam. Overall, it's nice .
Other: The college has lots of fests and functions, including cultural fests, competitions and cash prizes and certificates for them.

B.K. Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce is a good college.
Placements: For streams like B.Sc. and B.Com., there were no placements. IT students got placements. Placements were good.
Infrastructure: Chemistry labs were excellent. The infrastructure was good. When someone enters this college, they notice how well organised it is. They provided an excellent library with lots of books and a proper sitting area for study purposes. In the canteen, you will get everything.
Faculty: All teachers were well qualified. Many of them were excellent. They were helping students and treating them like friends. They did not train students well for industry purposes. Semester exams were not that difficult.
Other: There were many fests. They provided a variety of advanced courses, like AI and machine learning.

It is a good college, and I am satisfied with the facilities.
Placements: The strength of students in our course is high. There are around 160 students, divided into two batches. Many companies visit our college for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It provides many facilities like Wi-Fi etc. Every department has its laboratories for practicals. The food served in the canteen is good. There is a separate sports department in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All the teachers guide their students to get placed in good companies. Those who attend all lectures and get their doubts cleared can score good marks in semester exams.
Other: I opted for this course because it has a lot of scope in the future.
