Placements: Capgemini and LTI were some of the companies that came here for campus selections. As it was a pool campus drive, a large crowd gathered in one place. From Birla college, about 20-25 students got selected and offered jobs. The campus selection process was a good experience to all students.
Placements: The placements provided by the college was good and the companies which were present are well known in the desired field. Almost 79% of the batch was offered job during the placement and also remaining students were given chance again to show their skills.
Placements: Placements are the most crucial part or step in every college student's life. Birla College is a good platform for job-seeking students. Capgemini, Birla Sun Life, Eclerx and many more companies come for campus interviews. Not only campus, but also by various corporations like Times of India, Birla Sun life etc. give assistance for the internship programme too.
Placements: Placements for our batch was the worst. Only 5% students were placed the highest salary was 2.3 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 1.8 Lacs per annum. This year only capgemini company visited our college. Roles like management and junior coder type jobs were offered to those who were placed. There is a placement cell but no student is informed about it. Its totally useless.
Placements: This year our college yet haven't arranged placement exxept capegemini, we are asked to go for Walk-In interviews happen in other colleges and mostly in Pillai College. Last year our college had arranged almost 5-6 companies including MNC such as L&T, Techmahendra, Capegemini. This year only capegemini was arrived and since it was open campus 20-30 students were selected and got the mail confirmation. I don't weather there will be campus pool in our college this year, since its March 2018.
Placements: We have good placement for B.Sc. in maths, as well as B.Sc. in IT. Two multinational companies visited this year. The average package offered this year was around 2.1 LPA. There are almost 250 students placed this year with the good package as compared to the package given to the B.Sc. degree holder. Those 250 students are quite talented.
Placements: The best companies like L&T, Infosys, TCS, etc., select most of the students. The placement cell takes extra lectures for practice in interviews. Supportive staff who explain and support the students during the placements. A separate seminar hall is there to conduct placements.
Placements: I'm currently pursuing B.Sc in biotechnology. We don't have placements in this field. While we do have placements for B.Sc in IT, but I don't know much about that because it is not my field. But, I do know the companies coming for placements are BPOs and back-office jobs.
Placements: Till now, only one company has come for campus recruitment, and that is Capgemini. 20 students were selected for it. In the 2nd week of February, L&T Infotech will visit the campus. For senior students, the companies arrived for placements were TCS, L&T, Mahendra Tech and Infosys. The campus recruitment process, which I have experienced for Capgemini was average. We had to wait till 10:30 pm for HR round.
Placements: Many MNCs were in the queue to offer the jobs depending on the ability and confidence of the students of answering questions. 20% of the placements for our batch was offered. The average salary was offered 2.5 lacs per annum which was the lowest, and 4.5 lacs per annum was the highest. The companies like L&T and Accenture visited the campus. Backed operations and account related roles were offered. 100% students were offered the internships from the college for a monthly programme. Rs. 800 is t...
Placements: The placements will generally be in the BPOs and KPOs in the companies like the Eclerx and such. The salary offered was around Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 14,000 per month. But, whoever gets selected have to wait for a couple of months before joining the company. They don't have a specific tie-up with a single company and also proper a follow up is not seen.
Placements: Good placements are provided to the students. Various companies came for placements. I'm so happy with college. They provided lots of opportunities for students. The salary package of up to 3 LPA is provided for the students. Some students also do the internship in various companies.
Placements: The Birla college does not provide the placements for the B.Com and art students. It gives only to the IT and BMM students. No company has visited for B.Com students for placement and also no internship is given from the college. I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Atmost 20-30 students get placed every year on an average. Placement are done on the knowledge and skills of the student who passes out. Hexaware, Accenture, Wipro etc are the major companies who select the students. Average package starts at 15000 and varies till 25000.
Placements: There are lots of opportunities that will come to you. The much-esteemed organisation takes the campus recruitment of the students from Birla College, so there are high chances for you to get selected. I also got an opportunity from Hexaware BPS and got chosen for the same. The students scored minimum A grade were also selected. The highest salary was Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 16,000 per annum.
Placements: The college organized placements by companies like L&T Infotech, TCS and CMS Kalyan. Teachers guided to fill in forms and how to appear for interviews. The college has a separate placement cell for guiding students for placements. L&T Infotech selected 23 students from the college in BSc IT and BSc CS.
Placements: Placement of our batch was really nice, because I was selected for Larsen & Toubro Infotech. 23 were selected out of 120. Highest salary offered is 2.48L per annum by LTI and lowest by TCS at 1.96L per annum. Companies like Larsen & Toubro Infotech, CMS IT, Infosys, TCS are there. Associate trainee is the position offered.
Placements: The placement cell is good. They do provide placements. The entry criterion for placement is as decided by the company. L&T Infotech visited our campus in the month of December and recruited 23 students of IT branch. Later on, in the next month, CMS visited the campus and recruited 3 students. The placement cell also lets you know if there are any pool campuses in other colleges. So we also visited TCS and Infosys interviews.
Placements: At the end of the academic year and before few months of final exams, our college used to arrange campus selection for reputed companies. Highest salary offered was 2.5 lac p.a. and lowest was 1.32 lac p.a. Many companies visited but to name a few, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro were few of the reputed and well-known companies that selected many students. They selected many students as programmers, coders, IT technicians etc.
This college is overall good but the crowd should be more decent and they should restrict the outsiders who enter the campus. They can concentrate more on the parking facilities and the ground infrastructure. The faculty team is excellent related to my graduation in B.Sc Zoology, and the HOD and principal are equally involved with the students individually. The office staff members here are equally supportive as well.
