Wonderful faculty and too much into punctuality and discipline. Comparatively a good college.

Placements: Our seniors are getting good packages in computer science, but comparatively less in other branches, especially in mechanical and electrical branches. Core companies don't come, and even if they come, they select very less number of students. The packages are good but aren't great.

An honest insight of BNM, telling what the college actually is, in contrast to what they project.

Placements: The placements in the college are average. They are neither too good nor too bad. You can expect offers around Rs. 2 lacs per annum to Rs. 3 lacs per annum on an average. The CS, IS, and ECE branches get good placements. If you are lucky enough, you may get a package of Rs. 5 LPA to Rs. 6 LPA. A few good companies regularly recruit from the college.

BNM Institute of Technology review for its excellence.

Placements: Not many big companies like Google, McKensy consultancy, come to our college. Only the mass recruiters like TCS and others come. More companies need to visit our college, and the training should be given to students to be ready. They're forcing us to go for masters as less number of companies are coming for placement

Good faculty members. Can improve on designing the schedule. The placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: The placements in our college are excellent regarding the number of people placed. Most of my seniors got placed. The issue is none of them was placed in a core company, i.e., people from all the branches were placed in Infosys and Accenture exclusively. The training for the placement interviews is moderate. The salary packages started from 2.5 lakhs and went up-to 6 lakhs per annum. In addition to the previously mentioned companies, Cognitronics Ltd., and Westline Shipping also visited our camp...

Good for students who are studious as it is a very strict college

Placements: The placements are good as of now. However, core companies do come but take only 2-3 students. But very few companies are coming for mass recruitment. We're hoping to see better placements next year with more core companies as the placement officer has been changed. Industry trips are taken so that helps a lot.

A small campus with good educational values.

Placements: The college is located in a good and peaceful location in the centre of the city. The placements in my seniors' batch were quite impressive. Almost all the students who are eligible to attend placements got placed. Out of 440 eligible students, 427 students got placed in different companies. Some students got more than one company. The major companies like IBM, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Rare Mile, Aryaka Networks, Bosh and many other start ups visit the college for placements. T...

Great faculty, good placements, average infrastructure, good facilities

Placements: Placements are really awesome on this campus. Companies which visit this campus are really well-backed up. In E&C, the placements are always 100%. The highest salary was from Mentor Graphics at around 4.5 lakhs PA. The lowest was from TCS I guess which was 1.5 lakhs PA. The companies which visited and took E&C students were Mentor Graphics, Microsoft, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, HCL and TCS.

Coaching is good in the college for all the departments.

Placements: According to the feedback which I obtained from seniors about their placements, they were good. There are a few good companies which visit our campus for recruitments but I have not personally experienced them as I am into the 4th year of my engineering. Mass recruiters are TCS and Cognizant. There are also other companies which visit our campus.

If you want education deprived of sports, activities and enjoyment, then this is a college to go to.

Placements: Students can be categorised in 3 ways. 1. Brilliant: They either opt for MS, higher studies or handful of them get picked in the top companies that come to this college with an average package of 5-6 LPA. 2. Average: Their only hope is mass recruiting companies, which takes 70% of total placed i.e. 50% of the college strength. 3. Below average: Well no one takes below average students. So they either have to try off campus or opt for higher education.

For nerds, it is heaven. People who want to enjoy their college life, don't even think about it.

Placements: Only for people who have 60+, placements can be expected, otherwise not. The highest package you will get is 3.6 lakhs and the average is 2.4 lakhs. Accenture, Infosys and Cognizant come for placements every year. You will be hired as an associate software engineer. It doesn't matter which branch you are from, you should have a 60% aggregate in engineering. Don't expect any kind of internships. Placement-wise, this college is good. If you are eligible, then you will be placed for sure. ...

The college is like a school. Provides good placements for CS, IS, very poor placement for EEE, EC.

Placements: The major companies that visit are IT companies recruiting for tech support. The companies give the opportunity to attend interviews only if the student has 65% and above aggregate for a salary package varying from 3-5L. For students studying EEE and looking for a core job, a maximum of 3 companies visit and they ask for 70+% as aggregate. The salary package of such companies varies from 6-7 lakhs. There are many software companies coming to our college like Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, etc.

Join if you are ready to face the toughest decisions in your life!

Placements: Placements are good till you maintain 60% throughout your curriculum. If you don't have 60% aggregate, get ready to work in companies which have shifts. The majority of companies which visit are technical support companies (talking about people with less than 60% aggregate). People with good aggregate never worry, you'll be easily placed in one of the giant companies!

Good teaching and a bit strict.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Around 70% of the students are placed. The highest package offered was from BookMyShow at 8 LPA and by Harman Group at 8 LPA and the lowest packages offered are 2.5 LPA by the tech support companies. Our college doesn't provides an internship.

Fantastic because of the studies but average due to extra curricular activities.

Placements: Placement of my college is good. Most of the students get placed in good companies like, HP, IBM, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Robert Bosch, West line ship management Pvt. Ltd, Metricstrem, HR India, Rare mile technologies, Torry Harris, Microland and Celstream. More than 100% placements are already completed for the ongoing 2016 batch. Many of the students have got more than one offer. The highest salary package is 8 LPA, average placement is 3.5 to 4 LPA and the lowest package was 2.4 LPA. M...

If you want to ruin 4 years of your life, you can definitely join this college.

Placements: The placements are good and about 20 companies come every year with an average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum. Two shipping companies also came whose package was around 18 lakhs. Accenture, Infosys and Cognizant selected half of the college strength, but one rule is that if anyone is placed in the aforementioned 3 companies, they are not allowed to attend the other companies' drives; they can only attend the shipping companies' drives. CS and EC students usually get placed in more numbers here. ...

Hi, I am Karthik N. I have pursued my M. tech from the BNMIT college. This is the college where treatment and rules for students and faculties are same, and every individual is equal to the rules and regulation of the college. The attendance of 85% is compulsory, and every day we are provided with the seminar topics and asked to present the technical talks, which is good to have communication with students and faculty members.

The faculty and management is very strict. Campus placements are quite good as the students are placed in reputed companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM, Robert Bosch, Siemens, etc. Students from all over India are treated with fairness and no regional preference is entertained.

BNM Institute of Technology (BNMIT) is located in Banashankari Stage II area of South-Central Bangalore. Since it’s situated in Central Bangalore, connectivity isn’t an issue at all. Numerous BMTC buses from different parts of the city drop you not far from the college.

The College is overall good. It is highly disciplined. The faculty and staff are friendly. Placements too are very good. But the college is little old fashioned. The cultural activities are not so many. The fest TATWA was considerably good. But that was only1 fest. The encouragement towards sports also is not so good. Labs and lab teachers are good. Overall I would rate the college 6.5/10.
