BP Marine Academy admission is primarily merit-based. The Academy is AICTE-approved and partnered with South Tyneside College. It provides training related to Merchant Navy and Marine Engineering. All the courses offered by BP Marine Academy are either approved by DG Shipping, Government of India or by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency of the UK. The academy offers a total of nine courses at the UG level, which include three Pre-Sea Training courses, two BSc, four Higher National Diploma (HND), an Electro Technical Officer and STCW courses.
