Awesome and open environment and also infrastructure is very much attractive and good looking.

Placements: There are approximatley 55 students in my course and out of which nearby 5 students are admitted from counselling process. Top recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Amazon , Flipkart , Infosys . Maximum package offered in my course is 10LPA . Minimum package in my course offered is 4LPA. Top rolw offered in my course is initially as responsible employee in the company.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Our college provides a few placement opportunities. The placement cell is inactive, and nobody in the college is ready to take the initiative for placements. Top recruiting companies do not visit our campus. The companies that visit our college are only meant to earn profits, even in the form of direct payments from students.

It was good previously but has no value for money currently.

Placements: Most people go for off-campus placements and get placed which the college with their own publicity. Some are selected on campus as well off-campus by companies that come have an eye for IT/CS students. Companies for core branches hardly show up here. Almost everyone gets placed but the majority of the number comes from off-campus.

It is the worst college, and I regret taking admission in it.

Placements: Core companies don't visit this college for placements. Only marketing companies visit here, and placements are the worst here. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Students who got placed are under AKTU, and their exam centre is in BBD. Our college doesn't invite any core company as there are 4 colleges in BBD, i.e., BBDNITM, BBDNIIT, BBDEC and BBD University. If any company visits, there will be a huge crowd, so placements are nil. As there are 4 colleges, more companies should visit...

I am not at all satisfied with the environment, the faculty, and the placement process.

Placements: About 2-3% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra & Mahindra, Vivo, etc. Roles of a sales executive were offered. The salary package offered in our course ranged between 1 LPA to 3 LPA. Almost 6-5% of the student got internships. I don't know about the companies, but some of them were TCS, Vivo, HDFC, Eldeco, Shalimar, etc.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. Around 30-40% of students are placed this year. Mediocre companies visit the campus for placements. They need to improve it. Marketing and sales companies visit the campus more in comparison to the technical companies. The average salary package offered is 3.6 LPA.

Dissatisfied due to the poor quality of labs and faculty. The infrastructure is good.

Placements: None of the core companies of chemical engineering visited our college for placements. Only one non-core company came for chemical engineering students, i.e., EduGorilla Community. There were no campus placements for our senior batch. The first non-core campus placements were provided in 2017 where only 2 candidates of our batch got placed. There is a placement cell in the college. Companies come only for IT students and not for non-IT departments.

Review of Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology and Management.

Placements: The placements in our college are good, and the college only brings the marketing companies which offer you very marginal packages. This might not go well with people who want jobs in their own field rather than marketing jobs which are not really up to the mark.

There are three curriculum in BBDNITM, Lucknow.

Placements: Placements of the aeronautical department are average to non-existent. Placements in the college are average, but the students have to lean towards off-campus and pool placements, and further, the students from core branches are made to sit for IT companies at marginal pay packages. Overall, the college needs to up its standards.

Dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: There are a few placements in our college because of fewer companies are visiting our college. Due to the internal percentage, most of the students are not eligible for the placement. Overall, the placement in our college is totally nill. The students are not selected due to the poor knowledge about their subjects.

The condition of the infrastructure and course of BBD.

Placements: Few placements were offered as only a few companies visited the campus. There were many rounds of the interview, but at the end of the day, the only handful of students got placed. The main reason behind the fewer placements is the poor quality of education which is offered.

If you can’t qualify IIT, NIT, and UPTU, but want to study in Lucknow, then come here.

Placements: The placements are not good. Only a few companies come, but the package is low. Usually, IT companies come, and core jobs are hard to find. Extra money in the form of Orange lab or Purple leap is taken as Rs. 30,00 per sem for quality development. It is not very effective though, 62 joined in the 1st year, and 40 graduated students as also. Now, atleast 20 are doing BTC in my batch.

Dissatisfied with the placements and the faculty.

Placements: Don't expect a top-notch placement in this college. TCS was the major recruiter earlier, but now even that company does not come to the college. You can expect to be hired in a BPO or small-scale start-ups. Only a few were placed in my batch from the college, approximately 15% of the students got the jobs. The highest being 3.3 LPA but then again TCS don't come anymore. The lowest being 10k per month. Only toppers get the internship in BSNL and TCS without stipend. ...

All that glitters is not gold

Placements: Any company apart from TCS feels like a scam, there were students in my batch who were duped of their money in lieu of placements. The college takes no responsibility for placements and if you're lucky you'll get 1. Out of 1200 who sat for TCS, 80 made it through. You can do the maths, the package offered was 3.23 LPA and forget about internships or anything.

Dissatisfied with everything apart from the college life. Communities are good though.

Placements: Very few companies for placement the core branch. Only 2-3 companies and that too with somewhat different profiles and low salary packages. Average placement for CS and IT students. Highest salary package was of 4 lacs per annum in CS and IT field. For electrical or other core branches, the profile offered by most of the companies were for sales, service engineer or marketing manager.

BBDNITM review from a Lucknow pass out.

Placements: There is no placement and there are companies with either no pay or a low pay. Poor or substandard companies visited, and there are no proper guidelines for a job. Students don't get placed other than CSE, but the CSE jobs here are not even worth it. Students from other streams don't even get a chance here. The placement cell and co-ordinator do not cooperate with students.

The complete unadulterated review of BBDNITM Lucknow.

Placements: The only company that ever did mass recruitment was TCS but this year even this company didn't come and just a few start-ups visited the campus and that too with very few job offers. The most important thing to keep in mind is that there are four colleges itself in BBD campus, so if company visits for campus placement then all the students from these 4 colleges sit for the placements, resulting in thousands of students applying for the same job and there are only a limited number of vacancies. Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. Don’t hope for placements while getting admission in this college. One two companies used to come and those also for computer science background students. TCS used to come but only will hire two or three students.

Guys if you are thinking to take only degree then you can join it.

Placements: I do not know about placement too much because I was a dropout student from the college. BBD has only one good building. The teachers and management are not good. But I am sure about this college because I have spent some years here. 1-2 students will get selected for the job from every batch. The college management is only for fees nothing else they don't recognize you without taking money.

Our college does not offer good placements.

Placements: Most of the students enrol in this course compared to other branches. Not many students are able to secure internships from our college even from the CSE branch. Only a few students are able to get placed in companies. Only a few students got placed in IT companies, while the rest of the students didn't get placed.
