Review of Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in BBDNIIT were not good. We studied hard and prepared ourselves in both technical and non-technical ways. Only a few companies took part in the campus placement drives and those too took 3-4 students each. Overall it was a tough task for us to get placed in the campus drive.

Review of BBDNIIT by Aishwary.

Placements: The placements in BBDNIIT were ordinary. Some companies took part in campus drives but selected only a few candidates because of which the overall campus placement rate was low. Most of us got placed in off-campus placements. I got placed in HCL while some of my friends got selected in companies like Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture, but all through off-campus placements. TCS took part in campus drive but selected 20 students from the whole batch of 1000.

Poor placements, average faculty, good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements of BBDNIIT were not very good. Most of us got jobs through off-campuses. Few companies conducted campus drives and selected only a number of candidates. Even mass recruiters like TCS selected only 20 students which shows the situation of placements.

Placements: Situation of placements in BBDNIIT was not very good. One has to be very hard working to get placed in BBDNIIT in some good company. Only a number of companies were invited in the campus that too selected only a few candidates.

Placements: Placements in BBDNIIT were not good. Only a few companies were invited by the college for recruitment in which only a few students got placed. Later, we went for off-campus placements where most of the students got placed. To get placed in BBDNIIT, one has to be lucky enough.

Review of Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements were not so good as not many companies came to the campus. Very less percent of the students were placed, and the majority of the companies were BPO companies with roles of helpdesk, L1 and L2. The companies which visited were TCS, Unicode and some BPOs. Overall, the placements are ordinary.

Review of Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements are ordinary in BBDNIIT. Companies come but they hardly take 2-3 candidates each. Some renowned MNCs also come but they hardly take 25-30 students from the whole batch of 1000+ students. So overall, 20-25% students get the campus placements and the rest try for off-campus placements. Overall, the placements are not happening in the way the students expect from the college.

Good infrastructure, average faculty, bad placement. So choose only when you have no other option

Placements: My batch's passing year, which is 2014, is not good. No core companies came for the electrical branch as only computer science and IT companies were coming. In my batch, only 20% students were placed and in electrical only 8%. TCS, Mahindra Motors and General Electric and a few small companies came but the seats are very limited. In my branch, not a single student was selected in the big companies, only a few are selected but the package offered to them is very low like 2 to 2.5 lakhs. The highe...

Would not recommend this college

Placements: Placements were not that great. I think, around 40 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered was 4.25 lakhs and lowest was as less as 1.2 lakh Rs per annum. Average was around 2.2 lakh per annum. TCS, HCL, and few companies from Delhi participated in Campus placement. Nobody got internship from the college from my branch and I don't know about others. The role offered were normally Associate Developer, support and very few were giving good role. ...

BBD is not some college that I would suggest to anyone. The academics is poor because the teachers hardly know the syllabus and the method of teaching is also poor. So, study a bit harder and get a good college rather than coming to a place where at the end of your graduation you will not know what you studied.

The college is pretty good in the mediocre group. It has an average infrastructure that has an ample space for everything that one might need for, be it sports, academics or cultural. The academic atmosphere is not up to the mark, however, you can avail yourself a decent access to the library which houses a significant number of volumes of every stream of engineering. There is no internet access as in open Wi-Fi in the new block where senior classes are conducted so this is a downbeat. The commo...

College is below the expectation. Only few faculty members are experienced and well educated. Otherwise, all are college pass outs. Quality of education imparted is bad. Campus selection process is bad. Very few good companies come for placement. They don't help in CPUs placements. Library does not has the collection of new books. Fees is very high. They will tie you from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the college. You can't leave classes in between.

The reputation of college was high, when I got admission. The infrastructure of college is high. At first look, it impressed me. At stating standards of education like faculty, labs etc. was good. But after 1 year, it decreases drastically. Faculty members are the passing out seniors of college. Labs were not proper. There was a kind of formality in labs. In practical exam, it doesn't matter about what kind of student you are? It matter how your behavior to faculty. Faculty members were unable t...

BBDNIIT, a college in the capital of Uttar Pradesh that is situated in Lucknow. The college provides all the basic requirements such as a restaurant, student Centre, auditorium and a fully enabled national cricket stadium. The brand name of NIIT gives it a strong base. It’s a Babu Banarsi das institute and thus the very first thing which comes into our mind is the placements. The placements are good only if the student is either in computer science or in information technology. The scope for get...

The infrastructure is good. A huge land coverage of more than 550 acres. Environment is also much better than many colleges in Lucknow as well as other UPTU colleges. Teachers are not knowledgeable except a few and except the first year subject teachers. Various events are held which include lots of co-curricular activities and competitions. Events are always a great fun to attend. Studies don't have a high standard. Rest all is good.

My college is full of mediocre students. Faculty is good with a very supporting director. Most faculty members are the students who have just passed the college as seniors and the college does not recruit high skilled faculty. Every time, the college is blackmailing students to pay the Orane lab fees, which is a worthless skill development training programme forcefully applied against the students’ wish. No company is being brought by training and placement cell for the placement of the students...

BBDNIIT has 1000-1500 students. Very strict discipline. Faculty is average. Most of the faculty members are graduated from the same college and don't have much experience so they may help in scoring in exam but they don't give knowledge which can be used in longer run. Very less practical classes. If looking for career in engineering then you have to be self-dedicated because college does not helps much. No ragging. Very poor placements. Average package is around is Rs. 3 lakhs per annum.

It is a private engineering college with very less facility and fees taken is also not very high but not very less. Also it is around 850000 per year for B. Tech. We say it is an average private college, if we talk about placement then its average for Computer Science and IT student and for remaining, it is less than 1% in core company and less than 5% in other companies most of the companies visited in my time was BPO and offering less than 18000rs per month.

I am satisfied with the placements provided by the college.

Placements: Roles like system engineer and software engineer are offered to the students. Companies like Infosys and Capgemini visit our college to hire students. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA by Infosys. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Few students from our course get an internship. Placements are not so good here.

It is a good college if you are aware of your future.

Placements: Placements are average. Companies mainly came for the MBA course. The salary offered is good. Mainly companies come for the management position. For B.Tech, there are only a few companies. The placement cell is available, and people in the placement cell are helpful.
