Overall, it is an awesome college.

Placements: For mechanical engineering students in BIT, placements are good. Many companies like Bosch, Mercedes-Benz, TCS, Accentuate, Wipro, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, HAL, NAL, L&T, TVS, Tech Mahindra and many more visit our campus for campus placements every year.

What I call home- BIT, Bangalore.

Placements: Placements in BIT is good in general. But when it comes to IEM, it's not great. It's hard to get placed in a company that looks for something we've studied. Any company that comes in for placements look for coding skills or computer languages which we do not learn during the 4 year period.

Our college provides average faculty members for mechanical stream.

Placements: Almost 30 to 40% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary package offered was about 7 LPA. Mostly IT companies visit the college. Only one or two other companies come for recruitment. Internships are left up to students. Core companies like Mico Bosh visited the college. Some students were interested in doing internships, but our HOD was not co-operative.

It is really an awesome experience to stay here and enjoy your life here.

Placements: Good placement opportunities are available here, especially for computer science students. But in the mechanical, students need to learn extra skills and some designing software and attend internships in good companies which provide them with some sort of experience to get placements. They also need to learn additional things through co-curricular activities.

I am dissatisfied with infrastructure.

Placements: As I am an EC student, there is a huge possibility of getting placed in one of the core company. More than 85 students got placed but not 100 because most of the students go back to their states after graduation. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.45 LPA.

If your main concern is placements then definitely join BIT.

Placements: Our college is very popular for its placements. One peculiar thing is that the campus recruitment for EC students are pretty well, and more than for CS students. I am saying this because the EIE course is not different from the EC course. EIE course is not a popular course at present, and it doesn't mean you are not getting any placements.

College placements are good, but the campus has just 7 storey building.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for our senior batch. The average salary package offered would be 4-5 LPA. Many companies visited our campus. Only CD students get an internship from our college, but only 4-5% of the students got it. The maximum stipend offered by a particular company is Rs. 15,000 per month. Since I am in the ECE department, internships are not important for us.

I am satisfied with the faculty. Good placements records. The infrastructure is average.

Placements: Placements are excellent for CSE and ECE departments particularly. A lot of MNC's and government recruit students. Navratna companies visit to hire students. Almost everyone gets placed who have some decent marks and skills. A few of these companies offer paid and unpaid internships to 3rd-year students.

I am partially satisfied. Facilities provided are not enough but manageable.

Placements: Placements at this time in our college were good. Seniors were very happy this time because almost all the students in our department got placed. Students hope that it gets better next year when we were attending for placements. The department is making efforts to help the students to get placed.

Placements: Placements in our college nowadays got reduced. Only 20 to 25 companies visit our campus for placements. Overall, it is the worst college.

Very good placement for CS IS and ECE. Very costly for north Indian.

Placements: Most of the students are placed in an IT company. The core placement of mechanical is not good. Only 12-14 were placed in core companies like Robert Bosch, Toyota, etc. The overall placement was approximately 50% including it. For CS and Information Science placement was approximately 100%. Placement for EC was approximately 90%. The condition of the core branch is very pathetic like civil and mechanical. No core placements for civil.

Our college is good in all the activities like studies, sports, extracurricular activities, etc.

Placements: Our college provides good placements good for the mechanical engineering department. Almost 60-70% of students get placed. Many top companies, like Lanco, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited our college for placements, as our college is one of the finest colleges in Bangalore.

There is a good crowd and also the course curriculum.

Placements: Placements for mechanical engineering is as average as everywhere. However, placement training is good. The response of reputed companies like Bosch, MERC, is average for mechanical graduates. Almost 60-75% of the previous mechanical batch was placed with an average salary package of 4-5 LPA.

Nice college for B.E but not for civil because core company does't comes for civil.

Placements: Only the core company l&t comes for the placement for civil.3-4 company comes for civil but that is the IT company. Many of the students of civil get placed in IT company. Overall any one should not choose this college for civil even though it's placement is 70% but only for the branch other than civil.

The college provides proper placements for only CS and IS, and it has no campus.

Placements: I thought that the college provides 100% placements for my branch, so I choose this college. I suggest that you don't take admission here. BIT provides the best placements for computer science and information science branches, and you will get a lot of opportunities. But in other departments, including EC, placements are not good. Only CS and IS students get internship opportunities, while other branches students have to find on their own if they want to do an internship. In 4th year, if student...

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Since our college ranked under top 5 colleges in Karnataka, good companies visit our campus for placements. More than 60% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. It is one of the best VTU colleges in Bangalore, and CS and IS courses are the best here.

Placements: Placements in our college were average but not very high or not very low. All top companies visit here every year for placements, and placements for computer science and IS were excellent here. They were also good for other branches like civil and mechanical. The previous year placements were also good, and this year they even better.

Placements: This college has good placements compared to all colleges in Bangalore. I was in this college, and I was not thinking of placement, but I got placed with a very good salary package. I got placed in Infosys, which is a good IT company. All my batch mate also got placed in some of the good company. This college has a reputation because of its good academic performance.
