JEE Main Admit Card 2025 Problems and Ways to Resolve It

  • The discrepancy in JEE Main admit card 2025: Aspirants who finds discrepancies in the particulars (photograph/signature) mentioned in JEE Main 2025 admit card or in the confirmation page should immediately get in touch with the JEE Main Help Line between 10 am to 5 pm. In this case, candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam with the downloaded admit card. NTA, the conducting authority of the exam, will make the required changes in the record later.
  • Downloading JEE Main 2022 admit card on mobile: Aspirants are advised not to download their admit card on mobile. Instead, JEE Main 2025 admit card should be downloaded from the recommended browser.
  • Admit card not received: Please note that NTA will not send JEE Main admit cards by post to candidates. The exam admits card can be downloaded from the official website of the exam.

 The admit card of JEE Main is an extremely important document. Without this, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam at any of the JEE Main test centres

NTA has announced JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Admit Card date. As per the schdule, JEE Main Admit card 2025 download link will be available 3 days bfore the exam date on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates carrying soft copies of the admit card on their mobile phones will not be allowed to appear in the exam. They require a physical copy of the JEE Main admit card for verification purposes. So, it'sadvised to download the hall ticket from website and take a printed copy of it to the exam centre. However, it's always a good idea to keep a digital copy of the admit card on your mobile phone as well, in case you need to show it to anyone else. But, make sure to carry the printed copy to the exam centre. 

Q:   Is it mandatory to carry colour printout of JEE Main admit card?

A:

No, it is not compulsory to take the colour printout of JEE Main admit card to the exam centre. According to the official notice, candidates need to bring the printout of the admit along with the (original) Photo Identity Card, whose number is mentioned in the admit card. They need to bring the admit card in each session to secure admission to exam centre. Candidates need to preserve the admit card till the declaration of the final result as it is required for the admission process.

Q:   What should I do if my photo is not clear in JEE Main admit card?

A:

If the photo on your JEE Main admit card is blurred or not clear, you should contact the NTA as soon as possible to get it corrected. You can contact them through JEE Main official website or helpline numbers. It is important to get the issue resolved before the exam day, as the admit card serves as a valid identity proof and without a clear photograph, you may face difficulties in the examination hall. You may be required to provide a new photograph or a scanned copy of your passport-sized photograph with clear specifications, such as size, format, and resolution. Make sure to follow the instructions provided by the NTA office to avoid any further delay or confusion.

Q:   My name spelling is incorrect on the JEE admit card, what should I do?

A:

Contact the Joint Entrance Examination authorities immediately to get it corrected. Students should carefully examine the entries on the admit card and in case of any discrepancy, they should contact the Chairperson, Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced of the respective Zonal coordinating Indian Institutes of Technology. Also, in case of any problem in downloading the admit card, the student should immediately contact the Zonal Chairperson, Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced . A printout of the downloaded JEE Advanced admit card and a valid original photo identity card (any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Notarized Certificate with photograph) must be produced at the time of examination, without which, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

NTA will release JEE Main admit card 2025 session 1 around 3 days before the exam date. Accordingly, JEE Main BTech admit card will be released on January 20.
