Most budget friendly course in a government college with a ragging free campus.

Placements: Their are some seniors who are doing research at prominent institutions with 6 L per year. While many of our seniors are teachers at other government colleges and schools with 7-10 L per annum. Also, some of them are in public sector, working as government employees. Some are also doing business that is related to course.

The best college for B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology courses.

Placements: As a current student of B.Sc (Hons. ) in zoology at Barasat Government College, I can provide insights into our placement scenario. Approximately 70% of students in our course were placed in various sectors. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA, with an average package of LPA. Top recruiting companies include Biocon, Zoological Survey of India, and various pharmaceutical companies. Top roles offered include Research Associate, Wildlife Biologist, and laborat...

Barasat Government College .

Placements: Placement opportunities in this course are quite low compared to the other courses in the college. A few student get jobs in the corporate companies. We don't get any internships from the college. Students get jobs only after graduation with an average salary of 1 Lacs per annum. The placement opportunities are quite low.

Review of Barasat Government College.

Placements: There are no placements. The college offers only B.Sc. and B.A. courses for three years. After that, you can do a postgraduate. After graduation, students need to go for a government job or other private job. If you do well, professors are there to help you. So you can get into this college.

It is the number one best college in Barasat.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students are placed in this course. The lowest salary package offered is course 3.6 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 5.8 LPA. Roles offered are like school teachers, college teachers, etc. Some of the students are also appointed for part-time jobs in the college or school. They also get placed in private schools and colleges.

I'm extremely satisfied because of good facilities, good teachers and good environment.

Placements: This is a government college. So you should pass with good marks in 12th standard to take admission to this college. Students have to get 70% of marks in the last exam. This college only offers science and arts streams. Many companies give job offers to students of this college.

Our college is the best. I highly recommend other students to take admission in our college.

Placements: In our college, students should obtain 60% of marks in their academics to qualify to next year. In our course, at least 80% of marks are required to maintain. In our college, the highest fee was Rs. 3,000, and the lowest fee was Rs. 1,250 and the average fee was Rs. 2,000. In our course, the top role offered is a teacher in a school.

Barasat Government College

Placements: The percentage of students placed was quite low. The highest package offered was 8,00,000 per annum, and the lowest was 3,00,000. The average package is around 20,000 to 30,000 per month, and various wildlife-related activities are available as companies approach for recruitment.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty; and really good infrastructure.

Placements: 10-12% of students were placed in my course. Yearly, 1200 were taken from us for the course, and student concessions on the fees were also available for needy students.

College management is very helpful if you know how to approach them.

Placements: As I stated earlier this a college for general courses there were no on campus placements. But some of your batch mates for job during the course in TCS. TCS arrange a exam for Hons students. They participated and successfully cracked the exam and got a job. All the students of B.Sc. or B.A. scored more than 75% marks in HS, are getting SVMCM scholarship, also the Masters students are getting a huge amount yearly, other than this meritorious students are getting inspire scholarship.
